I usually don’t bother with reviews for fast food, but this place is ridiculous! I am new to the area and have tried this location a few times. EVERY time I go they are out of most of the different types of doughnuts, especially the ones that are special promotions. The doughnuts are usually abnormally small, hard, and lack filling compared to other locations. I go in the early afternoon as well, not even late at night or on the last day of the promotion. Today I went to specifically try the Golden Cookies and Cream doughnut. I ordered a 3 pack online. I went to pick up my order and was the only person in the drive thru, and there was no one in the store (I guess everyone around here knows this place is a joke). They handed me my box. I pulled off and checked it, and received a Chocolate Kreme doughnut. Chocolate makes me sick. The staff threw it in there, and didn’t see an issue, or the need to tell me they were out of the doughnut, and offer me a different one of MY choice. When I went back I told them I received the wrong doughnut and specifically went to try the new one, they just sat there and would not respond. I was not rude nor did I raise my voice. When I said are you out, the person replied “yes” in a hostile tone. I responded “ok”….still silence. I told them I did not like this kind as chocolate makes me sick, and I heard a loud sigh and annoyance, and like they still didn’t see the problem. I asked if I could get something else, and just went with a regular glazed. The person at the windows then proceeded to take a glove and dig in my box to take the chocolate doughnut. If they didn’t have on a glove I would’ve lost it. I still don’t want someone’s hands all in my box. I would not have ordered anything had I known they were out of the new doughnut. I have left this location several times, because they never have hardly anything. I pass it when I leave or come home. The staff has never been overly friendly or helpful. I work in multiple locations, and literally wait for Thursdays when I go to Manassas to get KK, instead of stopping 5 minutes away while passing it on my way home. I never have issues there, and they are pleasant (and crowded). I stopped today, because I did a mobile order, and low and behold they mess that up. They seriously need a new staff, and need to train people on customer service. There are people with allergies. They also need a way to adjust the app to reflect...
Read moreHORRIBLE Experience. It being a Saturday Night, July 19th at around 10:20 p.m. and my daughter's 20th birthday, we decided to get a late treat at Krispy Kreme. We checked the closing hours online, which was 11:00 p.m. When we arrived many lights were dim in and around the store so it gave the external appearance of being already closed. I checked the front door and it was open. We went inside. My young son wanted a superman donut. THE ENTIRE REASON we chose to go inside vs. drive through was to see the donuts on display from which to choose. It was 10:44 p.m. when we arrived and LITERALLY ALL the donuts were PUT AWAY. The entire display was emptied.
The thug looking servers did not great us but instead grunted something akin to, "We closin." They made it KRISPY CLEAR that we were NOT WELCOMED at that hour because, hey, they closin. My wife went into immediate mama bear mode to protect our little boy and confronted them. She asked to see the donuts so our son could choose one. It was a TENSE STAND OFF initiated ENTIRELY by the thug donut servers, who again, were borderline hostile. I was going to order something for myself but when I saw how MEAN, NASTY and downright UGLY they were acting, I chose not to. Only because my wife has a mama bear instinct did we get any donuts at all. If it had just been me, I would have walked out. So they grunted angrily and rolled up a cart and my boy picked out a donut. My wife got 3 glazed, money was exchanged, NO THANK YOU'S or ANY COURTESIES were exchanged, the thugs grunted again and walked toward the back of the store, and we departed.
Closing time is ADVERTISED at 11:00 p.m. We deserve the EXACT SAME COURTESY as any other patron who walks in at ANY OTHER TIME during the...
Read moreI placed an order 04/24/2025 online for pick up on Saturday 04/05/2025 for 11 am. I arrived at 11:15. I saw two dozen donuts in a bag on the back counter, I would had guessed it was mine. After 5 minutes of many employees look at me, but not dear ask me if I could be helped, I spoke up saying "I am picking up an order." The girl with no expression or friendliness says OK. She asked if it was a Door Dash, I said no I placed the order online last night. I pointed to the two dozen on the counter behind her but she ignored me and looked on the computer and said OK. So she then proceeded to put my two dozen together. My order was a dozen Fruity Pebble and the chocomania dozen. Later after we left I opened a box, which was the chocomania.....why did I have 4 glazed donuts? I had NOTHING that is displayed in the picture. One would think, well they ran out BUT how did you run out before filling my online order? The order was there bright and early when the oh so lively staff arrived. I feel pretty confident my order was on the counter, that is how it has been previously when I picked up an order.
Everyone in this particular establishment has the worst customer service. It's as if the public is interrupting them by coming in to get donuts. No matter how great those donuts are, I will not go back to this particular Krispy Kreme again. This is not the first time I have been here and thought the same thing, it is the first time saying something. I'll go to a gas station and get donuts or Paul's Bakery which is where the best donuts in town are.
You really should re-evaluate your staff or maybe offer customer...
