QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

This is the WORST restaurant in all of Fredericksburg! That is sad, because there are some pretty bad places here. I am new to the area, and was happy to see that they had Qdoba, because I prefer it to Chipotle...The first time I went to Qdoba, there was a Hispanic lady with really light hair, it was almost gold when I walked up to order. She was so beyond nasty. When I came in she let out the loudest sigh. Then she moved around doing anything but helping me, and refused to look at me. I was the only one there. I eventually walked out and went to BJs, they were great. Qdoba had a pick up special on DoorDash. I ordered the cheese crusted quesadilla, ground beef Nachos, and a veggie burrito bowl. There was definitely no cheese on the quesadilla, and it was bland and sad. The Nachos were an absolute mess, cold, and there wasn't one chip in them. They looked like vomit. The bowl got so soggy that it ripped, and spilled on me. The burrito bowl was cold, flavorless, and the veggies tasted burnt. This meal was inedible. When I picked up the food, the staff kept arguing about what was part of my order and someone else's. They put things in my bag, and took them out a few times. The 2 girls at the register were at least decent to me, they were both heavy set. There was another woman who was really thin that was putting the food together. She had put 2 folded bags of chips on top of my order. I had also ordered a side of queso. She was the one that kept instigating the arguments. When the girl at the register said the chips were supposed to have a side of queso, she stormed off, and threw the 2 bags. Between her, and the other woman there the other day, I've never seen such immaturity, unprofessionalism, and absolute ridiculousness. I would never in a million years return here. The food was good. We went there 1 hour before closing and almost all of the tables were leaned over and the chairs were stacked. Soon they came out and started to mop the floor, so obviously the order would be to go, yes there was 2 tables for customers to sit. The counter employees seemed as though we were interrupting their prep to close. If I go back it will certainly not be within an hour of closing.

2nd chance. The food is still good, however, the family went last evening around 8:30 p.m. the posted hours were until 10:00 p.m. All of the chairs in the dining room were stacked in 2 stacks, which the customers had to walk past to get to the line. There were no customers in the dining room, which is no surprise since it appeared as though they were getting ready to close. The food on the line was already "pre closed" they had all of the pans lined with plastic bags to keep the pans clean. This time we chose to eat in the dining room. The cashier came out with a mop and mopped the floor while we were sitting there eating. There was also another couple eating in the dining room. The worker mopped the floor up to and surrounding our table! We were finished eating by 9:00 p.m. which was still 1 hour prior to the posted closing time.

It is no wonder this place is not that busy at night, it certainly is not a welcoming place to...

The food is typically delicious. However, I am disappointed because I purchased over $300 in gift cards and have been told my the giftees that the website and app does not let people use their giftcards at this location for online/app orders!! I tried personally and ended up having to pay two different times! My own gift card balanced shows- yet the website/app does NOT let me apply my giftcard funds! I have paid out of pocket unnecessarily because I wantes to order in advance and not stand in the long line. Super disappointing! My teenager son and his friends agree! I will NEVER purchase gift cards for this place again! Food is good as I said- but I feel like these cards are a waste because it's inconvenient to not be able to use it online/app! I even emailed customer service twice and kept getting the generic runaround to email digital services, etc. I even went in and spoke to the manager but super busy. (Understandably). She was friendly, but was not really helpful and just told me to try to use the giftcards in the line. I wish I knew this before I ordered $300 worth for the holidays as gifts. Totally inconvenient....
