I used to enjoy going here as I felt they had good food and great drink specials. December of 2023 I was with my employees for a Christmas lunch. We had just arrived and I got up to go to the bathroom. I immediately slipped and landed on my back . A guest came running over and helped me up. My employees also witnessed it. There was no sign what so ever about a wet floor. It was wet and very slippery . I was embarrassed and so I got up and as soon as I went into the bathroom I slipped again , this time forward hitting both knees hard and right elbow. I stayed on the floor a bit crying as it is very hard concrete. They sent in a young girl who could barely speak English to check on me. I was upset and told them to put up signs . I went back to finish lunch, a manager never came by to check on me. I didn't want to cause a scene so I didn't report it. The next day I could barely move and had bruises all over me. I went to restaurant to fill out accident report. A waiter who had witnessed everything got the manager and explained what happened even confirming he saw it happen. The manager acted like he couldn't understand English and they spoke in Spanish for a bit. Finally he said to bring in Dr bill. I asked again to fill out report and same b.s. I did go to ER and a chiropractor. My insurance paid for the majority of the bill. I took my bills in and all I asked was for my out of pocket ,a few hundred , to be covered. The manager said he had to contact owner. I tried several times again and finally he said they would not pay anything. I did contact a lawyer when the accident happened but it was just before Christmas and she wasn't taking any more cases so she could finish year with cosmetic surgery. I tried a couple more and they all said to call the big guys in Austin that advertise on billboards. Being Christmas I never pursued and didn't want to be that kind of person, I just wanted my few hundred back and after getting the run around for several months I figured it was to late to get a lawyer and I didn't have an official accident report. A year later my knee is still sore to the touch, I have broken capillaries in my leg, and my neck still bothers me. I am so thankful my elderly friend wasn't the one to fall! The drinks become more watered down and more expensive and the quality of food went down so I stopped returning. If you go WATCH THE FLOOR . They mop constantly and it is...
Read moreOur visit was enjoyable until a miscommunication led to horrible customer service. Our server did not understand our order and changed one of our entrees by accident, so once we received the food, we called him back. We sent the food back and asked for the correct entree to be brought out. He did so while saying that we misinformed him. Now, mistakes are made, and that's alright, we understand, but please do not ever try to push the blame on your customer. That is extremely rude. He comes back saying the manager states we MUST PAY for the incorrect entree since they can't give it to someone else, and we could take it to go. I do not try to be a difficult customer, I appreciate everyone's work. I'm a manager in retail, my boyfriend is a manager at a restaurant, and we brought his mother out for her birthday. It was completely unacceptable to make us pay for something we did not even touch and were not planning to eat since we were visiting the area. We requested for the manager and were notified he would come talk to us. Another young lady brought us the missing plate in the meantime, and our server decided he would ignore us. We needed refills and also finished our meal, and the server plus manager were no were to be found! The server would come by us to serve others, but not us. We waited 30 minutes for him or a manager to come. We politely asked another young lady to provide our bill, and we realized they tried to charge us for that entree. Immediately asked her to remove it. It was untouched, and a mistake from the server, we will not be forced to pay a dime for that. Thankfully, she deleted it, and we waited 5 minutes for our bill to be picked up, though soon realized nobody would serve us most likely. We ended up going to the door to pay. The manager was there, but did not even apologize or explain himself. I gave the tip to that lady, instead of our server, she did more work than he did. He was actually the cashier when we left, and he would not even glance at us in the end. Ignoring your customers is something you should never do in the service industry, no matter what. We came to eat at your restaurant and had to fend for ourselves in the end, looking over our shoulder for the ghosts of these two people, MY SERVER, and THE MANAGER. Completely unacceptable, ruined our night. Thank you, ladies, for helping us. Both of you made our night a little...
Read more6/19/24New Update* I'm not sure what's going on in this place lately.. it used to be awesome but now... well since the owner, Brandon, isn't here today everything was just disappointing. My coffee came with pre-installed lipstick on it, pancakes were dense heavy and undercooked. Bacon and eggs were good though. It seems every time there no owners in the restaurant, it turns into a ho-hum not great restaurant. UPDATE Still really great here, the waitstaff is always well trained the owner and manager are attentive and always on hand. We eat here almost daily now! Good food ALWAYS fresh and they don't mind fixing what you want even if it isn't on the menu! LOVE IT HERE, so worth coming. * Very friendly place! We eat here all the time, sometimes more than once a day. They recently updated the restaurant and their menu. Although the plates are now smaller it is prettier and streamlined. The owner and the manager are both great guys who really listen to customers. Food and service are always...
