Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

Have rarely experienced worse customer service than I did when visiting this establishment. When I walked in there was literally a hoodlum loitering and leaning up against the front window texting away the whole time I was there---- so obviously he was connected to one of the employees. When I asked about their flavors the lady at the counter simply pointed at their menu board as if to say (without saying it) read for yourself. And then when I asked about buying some of their product, I was rudely told they could not accommodate the request but added that I should feel free to get something else (naturally, more expensive)---Thought about it for a minute and decided there was no way I was paying that kind of money for the kind of service provided. If you are expecting great service to go along with the ridiculous prices, then I would avoid this Nothing Bundt Cake. All of the others I have been in had tremendous customer service but...

My kids have been bugging me to stop in “the cake store” for a few weeks and today we finally went in. We got a confetti individual Bundt cake and LET ME TELL YOU. It was one of the best cakes I ever had. It was incredibly moist, but he icing was incredible (and I’m not a big icing person), and the person that helped us check out was nice and pointed out what was gluten free (because of taste/texture difference), different places to see the menu other than looking at the cakes lol. Overall it really was an awesome experience. We will 💯 be going back in the future. My daughter said, “we have to come back here for EVERY birthday”. I stopped in because the Biscoff Cookie was being advertised outside, but they were sold out. (then bring the sign inside! ) What’s the point of advertising it if you can’t buy it??

I then asked about the Snickers minis, and at first I was told they cost $30 and could only be purchased by the dozen. I said ok but as paying…I was told they were actually a $1 upcharge each.

The conflicting information left me confused, and it seemed the employee lacked clear knowledge of the products and pricing. She appeared unsure and somewhat clueless when trying to explain, which made the experience feel disorganized.

I left and went to duck donuts around the corner - would not recommend nothing but...
