My husband and I have ordered take out from here on multiple occasions and while we really enjoy the food, the terrible customer service from one individual has just pushed us over the edge and we will never be ordering from here again. We order online, and there was one occasion where we ordered and the restaurant closed early. The website gave us no indication it was closed so the order was placed and never fulfilled. We went in the next day to get our money back and the man behind the counter refused to give us a refund saying we should have called them to see if they were open before we ordered and it was our fault. My husband threatened to call the police and he finally agreed to give us our money back. Despite that, we continued to order from there because we enjoyed the food. Every time we ordered after then that same individual would give my husband problems. He'd either delay starting our food or he would give my husband attitude. Tonight we ordered from there and we were told the food would be done at 730. 730 comes and goes and now it's 745. My husband asked the man when he thought the food was going to be ready and he was told, "You need to sit down and wait, this isn't McDonalds." His rudeness and complete lack of customer service pushed my husband over the edge. He'd had enough at that point and told the man to just cancel the order, we didn't want their food, and once again he refused to give us a refund. My husband again threatened to call the cops and the man told him to go ahead, so he did. Ten minutes later the man comes out with the food and argues with my husband who clearly told him he wasn't interested in eating their food, and my husband informed him the police are on their way to settle the matter. A few minutes pass and the man comes out with the refund yelling that we'd better not ever order from there again. Not a problem. My issues are every time I order from them, they always mess up my order but I always seem to order again hoping nothing messed up the next time. It’s sad when my wife tells me to check the bag before I leave the restaurant. The food is great and they give you a ton of options for sides. My favorite is the mixed combo with chicken, beef and lamb. Most recently I ordered Thursday night from them and they quoted me a time of 30 minutes. I arrived after 30 minutes and I can tell they were busy; it’s Ramadan and probably a busy season for them. When I walked up to the counter the cashier who was at the counter finished with his customer and went back to the kitchen to help and a totally different person came to help me. I told him my name and what I ordered and he didn’t know what I was talking about. Once he found my ticket which was on the take out table with all the other order, really with no organization; he told me my order hadn’t been started and it might be another 30 minutes. Why quote times if you’re not even going to cook the food until the customer arrives? I totally understand being busy, but you know you’re going to be busy and have to be prepared, which they were not. I decided to buy dinner somewhere else and they really didn’t care. The next day my sister-in-law order her dinner from there. I asked her how her food was and she admitted it was good but they got all the sides wrong again.
