Somebody said Sushi? This is my favorite go-to spot in Fredericksburg, VA! They have half off specials every day of the week except sundays! The Ramen is great! If your in the area, be sure to stop by, they won’t disappoint! #ramen #sushi #foodie #fxbg #eats

We just got our house built in the area and this is hands down our FAVORITE RAMEN PLACE. Let me tell you something. Everywhere we go, me and my husband always make it point to find the best ramen place. We know the best ramen to go in Washington, Maryland etc. and thank god for Ichiban. I would have never been ok to move here if there is no authentic ramen. “Authentic” for me is all about the good broth. And this place have it!! Date night and celebration days will always be ICHIBAN dates! My favorite ramen: “chashu” with spicy sauce on the side. My husband Evan always gets the chashu ramen with extra tonkatsu (great marinade and soft!!!). The “shoyu” ramen is really good too! I love love love their APPETIZERS!! My favorite is: takoyakiii!! Nothing beats their takoyaki and potato mochi!! The sushi... oh the sushi. I honestly think everybody should try their sushis! We always get a take home sushi no matter how full we are! Lol May need improvement: “beef ramen” (beef was shredded and bulgogi-type so the marinade is too sweet for me and I would like it better if it is with beef slices —- the beef bulgogi with rice is really goooooood thoughhh), “kimchi ramen” (I love love love the broth but not a fan of the spam and sausage that comes with it), “tempura” (it only had 2 shrimps but the breading was great! ). TIP: I love spicy! But I want to control it based on my taste, where I can still enjoy the yummy broth so I order “spicy sauce on the side”. I LOVE THE SERVICE! Pretty fast and everybody wears the mask and I feel pretty safe whenever we go here. Honestly, this place reminds me of how a real ramen should always be. Thank you ICHIBAN!!! I have recommended this place to everyone we know, took our friends and family on this place and every time - We were proud. We will be back soon lol maybe tomorrow again.

I just want to point out first that I am sort of comparing this place to where I was, which is in Okinawa Japan. Japanese food in my opinion is good but some of their dishes lacks salt. They are known for being healthy so , for me that is understandable. Now coming back to this country, I know that people in different ethnicities has different tastes. I am not fond of chefs that are not the same culture as their restaurants theme. So it makes me think right away that, they would put a twists into their dishes. Hopefully you guys understand what I mean. Meal started out great , you can choose whatever seat you want, it wasn’t noisy at all and it has a young atmosphere. I also would like to say, my waiter Zoe is the best. This is her first job and she is nailing it. She has a great attitude and she was very honest with me , with the questions I asked. Anyway, their menu was not overwhelming at all, and their food items are what you would typically find in a Japanese restaurant . They also added some “ American rolls “ which are tempuras , added in the rice., and then make a roll of it with cream cheese and sauces. I ordered 2 rolls and a pork ramen. Just to give you guys a quick incite, their ramens has different broths, and In the Japanese culture, they love the pork broth and they only have a less than a handful of those . The rolls were insanely good because I am such a fan of seafood, especially shrimp. The cream cheese wasn’t to heavy handed with the sauce that was on top of the rolls. The ramen wasn’t very salty at all and the pork was very soft and tender. Every bite wasn’t greasy and the noodles was chewy and delicious. I would definitely return to this place. Just because the staff won me over and the food was the cherry on the ice cream definitely .

I didn't know about the 5 star review giving you a free appetizer, (someone else mentioned that in the reviews)and I live 3 hours from there, so this is an honest review.

Best sushi in a long time and we've had a lot. Each ingredient was stand alone great. Wasabi was bright and fresh. Ginger was perfect.

We got the pink panther - a little on the spicy side of you like that, but phenomenal. Even the tempura on the shrimp was exceptional.

Rainbow - a basic roll that somehow tasted better than any other one I've ever had. All the fish were fresh and tasty.

Monster - The recommendation of our waitress, who was fantastic. Thank God she did. It was the fan favorite of me, my husband, and my 10-year-old daughter.

Mango delight (We got it without the wasabi). Had house made mango sauce in it... Salmon on top for half and tuna on top for the other. It was bright and refreshing and delicious!

We ordered three more to go for the trip home 🤣.

And somehow all of that was half price. $58 for 7 rolls and 4 sodas. I think I would set up residence at this place if I lived closer.

I'm not sure how they do all that and make it that delicious, but it...
