The food and service were wonderful. Our waitress was attentive, respectful, knowledgeable, and made us feel important. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was delicious and fun for the whole family. We made reservations, but it probably wasn't necessary to do so. Probably busier at dinner time. We have a very fussy and picky 5-year-old who will usually only eat PB&J for lunch, so it is difficult to take her anywhere (especially someplace nice). This was a great experience for her. She was actually willing to try all kinds of different foods, and she ate very well because she got to dip and prepare her own food. She also loved that there were so many courses. She said it was a "royal banquet fit for a queen" LOL. It was great for the parents too, because we got a nice meal together, the kid ate, and we didn't have to struggle at all. Also, the non-alcoholic specialty drinks were beyond fantastic. We each got a different one. Totally worth the price. 10\10 would recommend.

The interior has a fine dining feel which is nice but the price wasn’t worth the quality of the food. The sesame crusted tuna wasn’t crusted, just some sprinkles of sesame over it. The bottom of our water glasses were dirty. They don’t by default bring wine to taste before choosing a glass. We did love the alpine cheese option of the four course menu. If we went back, we’d do cheese only. Our dessert of chocolate fondue was delicious but the server drop the nuts in his tray and picked them up with his fingers and put them in our chocolate fondue pot. Friendly server but not experienced or professional enough possibly.

Really good food and the place we sat was private for our anniversary dinner. They set out our booth to have a romantic atmosphere. Flowers to take home, chocolate strawberries, and a picture they take of you and you're significant other. Such a good experience for a special occasion. It is nice to go back after years! Our server was a college student just like us and she worked with us on how to cook our meat/figure out the menu. Definitely recommend! They are pricey so I don't expect to be back unless another special occasion comes around. We got the Yin and Yang Chocolate!

DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT-CARDS FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT !!!! They literally are selling fraud gift cards for full price online , my mother and grandmother knew how much I wanted to come here so they both purchased me for my birthday a $125 & a $100 gift card here . I went to go check out after we ate, after confirming not only once but 3 time , via phone call , with the waitress and the male manager ( who was extremely rude to us & making us feel like criminals ) if they still take e-gift cards . All who told me yes, they never expire . I then to go pay and they said the gift cards were flagged as fraudulent but on my melting pot account I can see the active balance of each gift card . Witch still has the $125 and $100 on the card . They were unable to use my gift cards that were bought through THEIR website just the day prior . Then the manager proceeds to tell me there is nothing he can do about their company selling fraudulent gift cards and to take it up with corporate . Then on top of that calls the police like we were not going to pay for the balance , witch we absolutely were still going to pay for it , I just wanted to know how we were going to get the money back that was spent on their direct website and I just kept being told just call corporate and find out what happened with your money . the manager threatens to call the cops but a second after he left they were already there . They had called the cops on us because we were questioning their companies fraudulent gift cards that they admitted & agreed that the company sold us fake gift cards . Their actual company ! Not a 3rd party site or anything their actual company. Long story short , it was a terrible experience & terrible birthday dinner . I will never return . They went from getting a $112.50 tip (40%) to getting absolutely nothing . Be careful when buying anything from their company ! Aside from that the cheese fondue was good , but the meat wasn’t good , the portions were small & you can’t cook the meat at the temperature it should be cooked at , so it takes like 3 times as long to make . The chocolate fondue was okay , overly sweet , not much of it , it’s like one big spoon full of cheese fondue and one spoon of chocolate fondue , not even nearly worth $300 for 2 people . And you have to cook your own food so prepare to be...

By far the best dining experience I've had in Fredericksburg. Excellent service from the staff; top notch professionalism and knowledge of their menu, with considerate but not overly frequent stops by our table to refill drinks, check in, and follow up on the meal.

My wife and I got the Bigger Night Out four course dinners for two to celebrate our honeymoon and could not have been more satisfied. Every bite of food was fresh and scrumptious, the flavors of each course were novel and filling, yet light and portioned well that they left you wanting for the next bite. I especially enjoyed the sirloin and the mushroom ravioli, and my wife dove into her shrimp and lobster tail with abandon as well.

I feel like it'd be a disservice to ignore how wonderful the cocktails were too. I had the lemon drop while my wife had the espresso martini. The bartending was perfect with each flavor of the drinks coming through cleanly without overpowering each other.

The ambience was also impossible to ignore, the darker interior with subtle lighting, and private booths and tables providing excellent privacy for each party in the restaurant; there was little to no crosstalk noticeable from other guests or staff, and the music was kept comfortably low to help set the mood without drowning out conversation.

We will absolutely be returning in the future to sample more of the varied menu and look forward to another...

Our visit was the first time my husband had been to a melting pot. It was our first anniversary, and things could not have gone any better. Our waiter, Nolan, was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeabe, courteous, and attentive (our receipt says Nolan, although the credit card presentation holder said "Ryan"). If we were out of something or had a question, we did not have to wait long at all to be waited on. We chose to do the Date Night special, one of many fine specials this melting pot has. The night went well as we started each course. The salad was an excellent transition into the third course even though we could have kept eating the wonderful cheese fondue forever. Honestly, if you have a sweet tooth like my husband and I, save a little more room than you may want to for dessert ( I say "more than you may want" because you will most likely wish to eat more and more, ignoring dessert, if you choose a third course).

The evening was fantastic, my husband was thoroughly surprised by the framed picture and box of dipped strawberries that came with our meal. He loved it so much that he has requested we go again for his birthday. I definitely agree.

Overall: The best melting pot I have been to. Amazing service, great atmosphere, generous specials, and a caring attitude toward customers. Absolutely perfect for special occasions. Heaven on earth for...
