I ordered for the first time this past Wednesday 06/5/20den, and a man (manager) answer the phone and I asked him what time would my food be at my house, and the manager told me 10-15 min, 15 min went by and I was still waiting for my food. I waited another 20 min and at 8:20 I didn’t get my food, I called the restaurant again and same guy answered, at that point I was upset about the waiting, the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful over the phone when I questioned him why my food was not here, the manager responded “if you don’t want to wait more I’ll give a refund” with a nasty attitude. Around 8:35 I received a called from the delivery driver informing me that she was in another town with my food because because she couldn’t find my address, and she told me that the manager offered to cook my food all over again and bring it to my house, at that point it was almost 9pm, I waited two hours. My food came super late and by the time it came it was too late for me to eat it. I called the restaurant the following day and the manager wasn’t there, but I left a message with an employee. I waited all day and no one returned my phone call, I called today 06/5/20 and requested to speak to the manager and I finally got to talk to him and I told him that I wanted a refund after everything that happened with my food and for waiting over 2 hours, and he got mad and yelled over their phone and spoke over my voice through the entire time and the last thing he said was “I’m going to give you a refund but you can’t order from us again.” I never had such a bad customer service experience ordering Chinese food. I have been going to this restaurant for many years because of its proximity to my mothers house. Today I ordered takeout to bring to my moms and part of the order was missing. My mom called to let them know, and the lady on the phone immediately became defensive and insisted that my mom was wrong. She proceeded to tell my mom that she was recording their conversation and that she was going to "report her" as if my mom was trying to "scam" her out of the missing item. Everyone makes a mistake now and then, but to argue with a customer over a missing $9 order of boneless spare ribs and then accuse them of lying is absolutely ridiculous. The quality of the food has steadily decreased over the past 2-3 years, which is more than evident by the scarcity of people in the restaurant at any given time. My wife, a Beijinger, called the restaurant to place a takeout order. The young lady acknowledged that she spoke Chinese, so my wife ordered five or six dishes. My wife then went through some beef and tofu dishes with the young lady. During the discussion, a gentleman took the phone. In Chinese, he told my wife that they were busy, so when she knew what she wanted to order, she should call back. After that, he hung up the phone.
