We thought tonight that we would go ahead and give them another chance after the last sandwich we received had a glove in it... Oh boy where we are naive. Tonight I received a sandwich that was either the wrong kind or literally had no meat put on while putting on avocado and cucumber that I didn't even order. I called in because that's unacceptable and I definitely still need the $12 sandwich I paid for, and the lady informed me that I must be wrong she knows she put the right portion on because she made the sandwich.... To which I said it's not on there I can send you a picture if you'd like and she had an attitude the rest of our conversation about she needs back the other sandwich, which is fine I don't care I don't want the sandwich. Funnily enough tried to blame it on having new employees and everything under the sun other than the fact that she messed up, if she was actually personally responsible for my sandwich being made then obviously it was her fault. I have formally made a complaint already about the glove situation and definitely plan on formally making a complaint about tonight but I have no hopes for any sort of redemption because I have yet to be contacted about the glove incident that happened April 6th. Read moreI go to Jimmy John's because I like the product. Freeport is my hometown and I understand there's some small town comradery between folks in the service business. I got to the store today to pick up my online order, (which I saw by the cash register), and waited for the person in front of me to finish their order. In walked a regular known by name, and the folks behind the counter exchanged pleasantries with him. The lady in front of me finished ordering and waived me in. Without even looking at me the cashier asked if the guy that walked in behind me was having his regular and what options he wanted. I had been there waiting for at least 3 minutes without recognition. The regular guy placed his order, paid, and THEN the cashier asked what I wanted. Gave me my online order which was the order I saw at the register and without a smile or thank you gave me a cup for a drink. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. I like Jimmy John's product, but Freeport Store, you have to try harder. Until Jimmy John's is by appointment only, it's first come, first serve. Delivery driver was very rude as I had to call to check on my order. Delivery driver called me back to say I'd given the wrong address when I'd called, but I hadn't said anything about my address when I called the first time. So I called a second time after the delivery girl me, to make sure they had the correct address. The person whom answered the phone was very rude and didn't care about why I was calling. Basically laughing. So when my food finally arrived over an hour late the girl didn't even acknowledge I said thank you. Like whatever, you need to rethink your career.
