This response is regarding only the Freeport Starbucks. I regularly frequent the Bangor Starbucks and recently patroninized the Augusta Starbucks. I found both of those facilities to be far superior. The Freeport facility was poorly represented. Small to average sized store (not really an issue) but my coffee was actually bad. I like dark roasts hot, they were serving their Signature blend dark roast. While I prefer Starbucks French Roast, I've tried the Signature blend at the Bangor facility and while it was not as tasty as the French Roast, it was still very good. The cup I got in Freeport was well below par. It almost tasted like the equipment might not have been as clean as it should. The staff was not as personable as most Starbucks I've visited, but they were OK. Parking was horrible, though I think they depend more on walk-in traffic. All in all, I would not recommend the Freeport Starbucks, nor continue to...
Read moreI go to this starbucks pretty often and usually have a great experience with the drinks + food, and service, but lately it’s been almost impossible to get a drink in less than 30 minutes. They seem to have a lot of newer baristas yet the hours of operation are incredibly inconsistent. Today they had four young girls making drinks but unfortunately they were too busy talking to each other about personal things to work efficiently. I understand that this Starbucks will be busy on a Saturday but waiting 45 minutes for a drink while the girls behind the counter are moving slowly because they’re distracted by a personal conversation… is not acceptable. If you can work and talk then by all means continue doing so, but if not then it’s best to save the conversation for when there isn’t 35 people waiting on...
Read moreIf you're a business or hosting an event and you're looking to post a flyer on their community board. Do not leave your flyer with the employees. Apparently they just throw it away when you leave and I don't want anyone else to experience this especially when your time and money go into making them. Starbucks, if you're not going to put the flyer up, just tell the person asking to bring it back when you have space available. Don't tell them "yes" and then trash it. It's very patronizing and disrespectful. I get that it's a free service, but I was trying to be respectful of the space on your board and not move other people's notices. There are a couple of you that I see here regularly, [since October] please know this does not...
