I used to go to the Zpizza at this location, and was sad when they went away. There aren't many pizza places around that offer good vegan options (including a vegan sausage!) and whole wheat crust. Anyway, I thought I would give the new kid on the block a chance.
I get a little bored with veggie pizzas, so I was glad to see the Indian options. I was hoping to see channa masala, lentils or some other vegan protein option, but there were none. I'm not a strict vega, so I'm ok with a little cheese/paneer from time to time. I see some reviews mention vegan cheese, but I didn't see it on the menu and didn't think to ask.
I tried a half palak paneer, half tikka masala veggie on the original hand tossed crust. I liked the crust, which is sort of Chicago style, but my partner was not a fan (she prefers a more bread-y, chewy crust). We both though the Indian flavors were extremely muted. In a blind test, I don't think I would have guessed either half was Indian style. Don't get me wrong, we both liked the pizza, and they were different from your typical red sauce with mozzarella and veggies, but they didn't seem very Indian.
Part way through the meal, the guy from behind the counter came by to ask how we were doing and did we have any comments. We mentioned the muted flavors, and he explained how they started out with much stronger flavors, but had to tone it down based on the feedback from most of their customers. Of course they need to serve their market, but it just wasn't doing it for us. He told us next time to ask for full-Indian (or "Desi") style, and they would kick up the flavors for us.
As an example, he provided us with free order of Indian Style Breadsticks with the flavor kicked up a notch or two. The breadsticks use a curry base, so they can't be compared directly with the pizza we got, but the flavors were definitely more prevalent. Next time maybe we'll try the curry pizza, Desi-style. I would still like to see some non-meat...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a pizza experience that goes beyond the ordinary, this Indian pizza spot is an absolute gem! Every visit here is always awesome, and what truly elevates the experience are the amazing people behind the counter—Kaur and Singh.
They bring warmth, kindness, and consistency that keeps me coming back time and again.
The crust is always crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings are incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can taste the thought and care that goes into every bite.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. Kaur is incredibly sweet and welcoming—she always greets us with a smile and remembers our favorite orders. Her energy is infectious and she makes every customer feel like a regular.
Singh is efficient, courteous, and always on top of things. Whether it’s a large group order or a last-minute takeout request, he handles it all with calm professionalism and genuine hospitality.
They both go out of their way to make sure your food is perfect and that you feel valued as a customer. It’s rare to find that kind of personal attention at a busy food spot these days, and it makes all the difference.
The restaurant itself is always clean and inviting, and the kitchen is spotless—which is important to me. You can tell the staff take pride in everything they do, from preparing the food to maintaining the space.
In a world full of chain restaurants and impersonal service, this place feels like home. The flavors are bold, the quality is top-notch, and Kaur and Singh make every visit memorable. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on something truly special. Do yourself a favor and stop by—you’ll be hooked from the first bite.
Thank you to Kaur, Singh, and the whole team for consistently delivering incredible food and...
Read moreThe first time I had Curry Pizza House, I was a little confused before I ate, because the concept just seemed confusing. I thought, " how can you mix Curry and pizza and have it taste anything near edible?" After the first bite I realized that the pizza was something special, and something to be shared with everyone that I know. Curry Pizza House elevates both pizza and curry with fresh ingredients, fresh daily made pizza dough, halal options, an amazingly nice staff, great sauces and an understanding of food that cannot be understated. I have had their food several times now and decided to try different pizzas and different dishes each time. Get a half and half pizza and try one of everything that even sounds a little delicious. Get the chicken wings because their chicken wings are prepared very well with very little to no fat on the chicken wings and delicious flavor baked in. They have nice jalapeno ranch and regular ranch for non spicy folks. I'm a pizza lover and a meat eater, but the Achari Gobi vegetarian pizza is amazing. It's hard to admit that something vegetarian tastes that good. The palak paneer and chicken tikka pizzas are also very highly rated by myself. This craft fusion pizza place obviously knows what they're doing when it comes to food. The environment is fine, but if it's busy you may not get a seat. The beer selection is not my favorite, but I don't come here for the beer. Order the chicken...
