note: CASH ONLY
the reason this place gets 5 stars is because i've never seen anything this cheap in NorCal. Everyday they have this "happy hour" special, which is from 4pm to midnight (yeah, it's a very long happy hour special), and you get your choice of an entree (smaller portion) plus a drink of your choice (hot lemon tea or milk tea, add $1 if you want it iced).
The food is average. And do not expect any good service either. The guy working there is always so rushed and not friendly (but honestly i didn't mind it.. i'm not there for a good service) - but he met every requests when i asked.
my daughter was craving for a club sandwich (this is not part of the happy hour special) - it was okay. the bread was dry and they didn't have bacon in the sandwiches like it's supposed to.
i ordered the baked pork chop on rice (which is part of the happy hour menu) and got a drink. Though the portion is small, i think it's good enough because you can always order other items from the Happy Hour menu and you get a taste of everything and you get a drink for each item!
salt and pepper wings were on the Happy Hour menu and we ordered two orders for a family of 4. I have to say the wings were very good. it was juicy and the skin was crispy. Only thing i wish it had more of are the little peppers, garlics and salt.
i definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good deal for dinner.
looks like their breakfast deal is pretty good too! looking forward to try...
Read moreFood is super authentic hong Kong cha chaang ten food. Got the traditional baked rice dishes, as well as common HK dishes like beef chow fun, congee, etc. service was ridiculously fast. Ordered three things and within five minutes of ordering, our dishes were on the table , piping hot.
Really appreciated the "happy hour" menu which goes from 2;30 pm to closing (midnight), which offers a really good deal on pricing, with drink included. The portions are smaller than if I didn't order from the happy hour menu but still pretty decent size for a serving. We had leftovers. Also the menu for happy hour is pretty extensive, has all the classic dishes which were the same ones I was going to order anyway.
They accept card but will be 3% extra charge. Otherwise cash is totally fine.
Saw lots of people eat in at all hours as well as many people ordering takeout.
Would def come again for both dine in and take out to feed my HK classic...
Read moreI seldomly leave negative comments on review, but unfortunately I have to leave one here.
Food and price are ok. What drives me crazy is the service and attitude provided by the servers. They are rude and terrible. I am so disgusted that we as customers - who spend our money to pay for not only food but also service - are served and treated as dummy by the current management of this restaurant. I feel so bad for these workers to come to work and be unhappy everyday. However, you cannot deliver the same negative energy to your customers who are paying for your food and service. Your team should retake Customer Service 101 Class and learn the topic of customer service.
In conclusion, I will never come back to this restaurant under the current management. Good luck in keeping...
