This location honestly opened my eyes to something. I ordered my drink 5/17 early morning before work and I order my drinks with no classic syrup to avoid the high sugars. I get my drink and there’s a layer of it on the bottom, and you can literally see it. I went back and forth on whether I wanted to drink it and ultimately I just threw it out. Later in the day I decided maybe there’s a different crew so they might make it correct (I know they can remake the drinks but I do my best to not inconvenience since I know generally all Starbucks are busy so I just keep it moving) i put I my mobile order and…. Same thing layer of classic on the bottom, I had to double check my tag to make sure it says no classic and it says no classic so again I take a sip or two and just toss it. This morning 5/18 at 430ish I walk into the store before putting in my order so I can watch them make my drink, and what do you know I literally watch the Barista put 4-5 pumps in my drink and when she calls my name I ask her directly is there classic and she looked me dead in my eyes and said “No” so I grab it and leave. I’m sitting in my car debating on wether I should ask them to remake it or just head to work and I said screw it, I go back in and the Barista recognizes me and just turns her back to do the morning duties since they just opened. So I ask the other girl if the drink can get remade, because I mentioned that there’s classic in my drink and I showed her how there’s was a layer of it on the bottom. The girl made my drink and when she handed it to me the difference was clear as day. No layer on the bottom of the cup and everything was free moving when I would mix it.
3 drinks in 2 days were wrong which made me think, how many of us put in custom orders and they aren’t made to how we’re ordering them? Especially for people watching their sugar intake when someone puts no classic I would assume it’s because of the sugar levels and yet they are putting what we asked to not be in the drink in it. I’m guessing it’s because of muscle memory since a lot of people don’t take the time to customize their order they are used to the “Standard” way of making a drink so they routinely put what they are trained to put in the drinks.
If your one of the people who customize your orders really know your drink because what your ordering compared to what your getting could be...
Read moreOne of the worst Starbucks experiences at this store. I placed a mobile order with a pick up time at 10:10 am. As I waited, multiple other customers checked in about their mobile orders and got a neutral stock answer of "it's the next one". After observing a few customers getting generic answers and not getting their orders, it was more frustrating to see people who I saw order in store getting their drinks first. Clearly, the order of operations by these baristas is messed up.
I got my drink 16 minutes later than the mobile order estimate and it was not even made properly. He didn't add enough ingredients for the Carmel ribbon crunch frappucino and added some extra whipped cream at the bottom to compensate. Also the crunch and caramel were only at the top instead of throughout like how it's made at other stores I've been to.
I take it the baristas either need more help or more training. They don't move with urgency, don't acknowledge customers, lie to customers about their order in the queue and are disorganized in how they prioritize in store and mobile orders. This was my first and only time coming to this location. There are other locations around, no need to settle...
Read moreRUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!! I just picked up my mobile order and the order was wrong, so the girl in the long braids decided instead of fixing the order for me she would argue with me about wether I was wrong for putting her n the order it she was right, she wanted me to go to my car to get my phone to see if the order was out in right or wrong...Really, she obviously either hates her job or has never worked in customer service before. I told her I was gonna be late to work and if she could just fix it for me and I asked her what she needed from me to do so. She rolled her eyes and was obviously pissed off, it would have taken less time to remake my coffee than it took her to argue with me and act rude, her coworker said "get ready" I guess it's an inside joke. By the way I said please and thank you!!! I commute from San Jose to Livermore and stop there on my way because it's the only one...Ill do her a favor and go out of my way to never stop at this...
