I'm a regular customer at Vitality Bowls, usually visiting weekly. However, my last visit was quite frustrating. I called in to order two large vitality bowls, and the woman who took my order over the phone was rude and short. When I went to pick up my order, I tried to ask her how she was doing, but she ignored me. I assumed she was having a bad day, paid for the bowls, and went to my car.

In my car, I noticed the bowls weren't filled up all the way like normal, so I went back into the store to ask about the issue. The woman who initially helped me came out and said there was a sign on the front door about the lack of açai. I was frustrated and reminded her that I had ordered by phone and she never mentioned they were out of acai. She argued with me and told me that’s how much they usually fill the bowl anyway, but I knew this wasn't true as I visit weekly. She offered to remake it for me. I told her that I didn't want an açai bowl without açai, and after more arguing, she finally gave me a refund.

This situation was quite ridiculous. I was treated quite rudely, but the worst part was not being informed about the missing açai and not receiving a refund when I asked. I don't think I'll be returning to this location and recommend trying the Newark, CA location instead. They consistently offer excellent service...

I love this place but from my POV there’s a huge difference between the service and food on weekends and week days. I visited Them last Saturday (which the service and food was outstanding) and today (Monday). In both occasions I bought theirs Chimichirri Steak Wrap, unfortunately today when I started eating my Wrap I noticed that my wrap didn’t have steak at all, so I decided to come back to nicely talk to the employees and I brought my order back so they could correct it, but to my frustration and disappointment when I eat my wrap, it barely has steak on it. Definitely the Chimichurri Steak Wrap is not the same as it was on Saturday.
