La Michoacana Plus -Fresno- — Restaurant in Fresno

We passed by this place a lot because of its vibrant colors and words that read “Ice Cream Parlor”. That was enough to get our attention.

Parking is a little tight so just make note. Seating inside is plenty but can get full quick. They do have a kids play area but needs a really good TLC since everything is broken.

We were helped fairly quickly. We asked for mini pancakes and they were out. That was sad. Asked for churros and they said it would be 10 minute wait. So we just got chocolate ice-cream, a watermelon popsicle and mangonada.

Chocolate icecream: 1/5, it tasted like chocolate syrup all around. Watermelon popsicle: 3/5, it is a frozen watermelon so you know the flavors are real. Mangonada: 2/5, nothing special.

I wouldn’t go back because they can’t provide what they’re advertising. The experience alone isn’t worth it. Easy...

I love La Michoacána and this location is amazing inside. It's super clean, colorful and always playing the best Mexican music. They have a wide variety of paleta flavors and treats. Paletas are my favorite; thick, creamy, and rich in flavor. Michoacána uses fresh fruit and nuts in all of their products. Gummy bear paletas, Snickers paletas, Gansito paletas, walnut paletas (whole or crushed), and even tequila paletas. This location also has four different backdrop designs to fulfill all of your social media needs.

This place is new and wait time may last 5-10 minutes. It seems short-staffed, but I really don't mind the wait. I understand Cremas con Fresa and Mangonadas take a while to make, plus I get to enjoy more music and take my time to view all the paletas. I also enjoy watching how these special...

Not the best first impression... before arriving I ensured the place was still open as everywhere online it is posted they are opened from 10am-10pm Sun-Sat. We got to the location at approximately 9:26pm and we could see that there were customers inside but their door was locked. Us along with other customers that arrived at the same time we did were also wondering why their doors were locked when ALL the signs on their windows said they were opened until 10pm. After we were standing outside wondering why they were locked, we at least expected to have one of their employees to let us know sorry it’s closed, but that was not the case.
