This is a nice store and the one I frequent most. It's kind of sad how the staff has turned over the last few years, for numerous reasons, the pandemic being biggest factor. There's a lot to be said for the line in the theme song from Cheers: "Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came..."
A few years ago this used to be the case. I'd walk in and just about every barista knew me by name - and I knew theirs's as well. Since the pandemic is just hasn't been the same for me, but I still drop in to buy beans, and occasionally a cup of coffee.
[edit: Dec 5th 2022] Today I ordered a Blonde Americano and it was hands down the weakest cup of coffee I've ever had from Starbucks. I'm not sure if it was due to a new barista or SBUX reducing the amount of coffee per cup. I did do a google search and came upon an article dated Nov 21st, 2022 titled: Starbucks Coffee Under Fire For Tasting Weaker. I wont comment further on the matter, but I've reduced my rating to 3 stars and though this has been my goto place for coffee when out and about since it opened - I will be exploring other options. [edit] 12/26/2022 My wife and I went into this store this afternoon and it was an absolute mess. It was really bac the other day when I went in as well. My wife said she spoke with one of the employees about it awhile back and they employee said store is shorthanded and they try to let their manager know but the manager doesn't answer the phone and they are not allowed to go directly to corporate.
Look at the trash (see my recently posted images) at the service counter(s). Bathroom I used was a mess. Entry carpet was dirty. It's starting to look like a third world business. Hope they turn this around 'cuz it aint...
Read moreI have given this Starbucks so many chances, but sadly my coffee is incorrect every single time I order. One instance, I ordered a light roast coffee and they dumped the coffee and never rebrewed it so I waited for 20 minutes for a light roast when I asked if my coffee was coming they said oh we never brewed it you can wait about 10 minutes for it or we only have dark roast. I was already going to be late for work after waiting so long so I took the dark roast then I asked for cream to water down the significant difference in roast and they put the tiniest amount of milk and they didn’t have pitchers out for me to fix it myself.
Another, I ordered a skinny vanilla latte and after waiting for them to finish all their app orders instead of the ones for the people standing right in front of them and I get to my office to find out my order is incorrect AGAIN. I got a plain (and burnt) non fat latte with no sugar free vanilla.
These are only 2 of the many instances and I’ve finally learned my lesson. The staff is friendly, but I’ll be avoiding this store from now on. For the price of Starbucks coffee a correct order seems the least...
Read moreI am a 70 year old retired man and this morning I was 2/3's of my way through my morning walk. I had just completed 6 miles, had 3 miles to go and I stopped at the Starbucks in Fig Garden as I have done multiple times and asked for a "small cup of water". My history with this store is that they comply. This morning however the manager name Joey informed me that "water is for paying customers". I told him BS (I should not have said that) and that I had been given water multiple times over the years and that while I was not a paying customer at the moment I had spent thousands of dollars over the years in Starbucks. Still he refused. While the cost of a "small cup of water" may be a 10 cents at best, the loss of my thousands of future business at that Starbuck will go to other Starbucks and Kup of Joy in the area. Joey should me exactly how they feel about seniors who carry very little if no $$$ at all while walking. I wonder if the benches outside are reserved for only...
