Roy's Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Friday Harbor

As a local who’s been coming to roy’s for years i can’t believe how rude their staff was to me this morning. I usually get a coffee in the afternoon but was in town earlier this morning and wasn’t sure when they opened since their hours aren’t listed. I waited outside for about 15 minutes until 7am, the ladies inside had taken down the closed sign so i assumed they were opened. Still unsure, i walked up to their OPEN window and asked if they open at 7 am and both ladies looked me dead in the face and ignored me, standing there for a second in disbelief of how rude they were, they both turned around and completely dismissed me as if i didn’t even exist. The coffee is yummy, but the owner has a very short temper. I was unable to find the entrance to the drive thru as it is on a different road. The lady inside assumed I was trying to park in her exit. She yelled at me pretty fiercely even though I was just trying to ask her where the drive in is. When I came to the window she huffed around angrily and did not apologize even though she was clearly in the wrong. Piece of advice lady, if you read this, don't assume, ask what is going on with somone first, and if you do lose your temper just apologize. It is not that hard! Getting coffee is supposed to be enjoyable, it is a treat, u shouldn't go away from it feeling like crying! Customer service is as important as good quality coffee! Their attitudes are horrible to say the least. The customer service I received was the worst I've seen my entire life. let's just say a tiger has a sweeter look in their eyes and a better attitude than the 2 out of 3 workers I had to deal with at this coffee shop. only when I said I'm making a review they gave me a fake smile which was very insulting to me.
