Crimson Coward Chicken, a Taste of Fiery Perfection!

As a dedicated chicken enthusiast, I'm always on the hunt for restaurants that can truly deliver on flavor, quality, and uniqueness. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of discovering Crimson Coward Chicken, and let me tell you, it exceeded all of my expectations and left me craving more.

From the moment I stepped into the vibrant and cozy atmosphere of Crimson Coward, I knew I was in for something special. The staff greeted me with a warm smile and a passion for their craft that instantly put me at ease. The menu was tantalizing, offering an array of mouthwatering chicken options that cater to all heat preferences – from mild to blazing hot.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the chicken. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The chicken at Crimson Coward is cooked to absolute perfection. Each piece is juicy, tender, and packed with irresistible flavor that leaves you longing for another bite. What sets Crimson Coward apart from other chicken joints is their unique spice blends. The variety of heat levels allows you to customize your experience and find the perfect balance of flavor and fire that suits your palate.

Speaking of spice blends, let's talk about the signature "Crimson Coward" sauce. This sauce is an absolute game-changer. It's the ideal combination of heat, tanginess, and richness that elevates the already delicious chicken to new heights. Whether you prefer applying it sparingly or drowning your chicken in it (which I highly recommend), the Crimson Coward sauce adds an unforgettable kick that will leave you craving more.

But Crimson Coward isn't just about the chicken – their sides and accompaniments deserve recognition too. The crispy waffles are a match made in heaven, providing the perfect balance of sweetness and savory goodness. The hand-cut fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making them the ideal companion for your chicken feast. And if you're feeling adventurous, don't miss out on their housemade pickles that add a tangy and refreshing twist to every bite.

What truly sets Crimson Coward apart is their commitment to quality. They source their chicken from reputable farms, ensuring that every piece meets the highest standards. The attention to detail and the passion for their craft is evident in every aspect of the dining experience.

Lastly, I must highlight the exceptional service provided by the team at Crimson Coward. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure that every customer leaves satisfied. Their friendly demeanor and helpful suggestions make the dining experience truly enjoyable.

In conclusion, if you're a chicken lover like me, Crimson Coward is an absolute must-visit. The combination of impeccable chicken, unique spice blends, and a commitment to quality make it a standout in the culinary world. So whether you're in the mood for a fiery feast or a mild indulgence, Crimson Coward will not disappoint. Trust me, once you taste their chicken, you'll be left craving their flavorful creations for...

First time trying this location. The one who greeted us had excellent customer service. He made sure we were catered to and acknowledged. He was making orders, greeting guests, and sanitizing. I can’t say much for the other staff members, they kind of just stood around, once they got up from one of the dining tables.

The location was extremely clean in the store front with legible ordering menus and kiosk. It is very spacious and you have enough room to order at your own speed and privacy: However the bathrooms, due need a little more attention and care. They also have a freezer for frozen palletas or Mexican ice creams. They weren’t listed on the menu or have prices listed on the freezer.

The food was made fresh, after we initially ordered. We could see them frying and seasoning the chicken and fries. I ordered level hot for the 3 chicken tenders and bread combo with a pile of sliced pickles. The bread is literally a slice of bread you can get from a grocery store. Nothing too special. We ordered a side of crimson fries. They were a little on the softer side, no crunch and not seasoned as much as I thought they would be. They kind of lacked flavor. BUT the box was filled to the brim and served hot. The chicken tenders were fried extra crispy and whoever tossed them in the level hot seasoning, kudos! It was packed full of that creeping heat. It was an enjoyable choke-able heat, you expect for hot foods.

This is best eaten fresh and hot, from when you receive the food. Once it got cold or I made an attempt to reheat in air-fryer, it tasted like the spicy frozen chicken tenders you get from Walmart. It lost that crunch you can hear and the ability to relive the heat intensity from the initial bite. The fries get cold and soggier, and reheating them dried them out instead of making them crispier.

Definitely worth a try. But it’s best eaten as dine in, to get the full experience. For the price I expected more from 3 chicken tenders, a slice of bread, and a complete side order of...

So I've been super curious about this place and eager for it to open up!! They're still in the soft opening phase, so it's a bit under the radar. I came in there yesterday and it wasn't busy at all. Everything was clean, and the employees were super sweet and helpful!! For my meal I got the Joey Eat Fries (Fries with chicken, nacho cheese, crimson sauce, pickles, and comeback sauce) at the medium spice level and 3 tenders at the mild spice level.

Everything was made to order and came out piping hot!! The portions were HUGE!! The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They had the perfect texture to stand up against all of the toppings without getting soggy!! The sauce was VERY close to the comeback sauce at Ricky's Hot Chicken, and I love Ricky's so this was an obvious win for me!! The slaw was crunchy and fresh with a slight amount of sweetness, it's vinaigrette based (instead of mayo) which I also love!! Most importantly - the chicken was SO juicy and flavorful but by no means was it spicy, at all!! For reference, I typically get the hot spice level at Dave's Hot Chicken and medium at Ricky's Hot Chicken. I was told that the Crimson Coward medium spice level would be equivalent to the hot at Dave's. That absolutely was not the case, which I'm totally fine with because the chicken was SO GOOD, just not spicy at all, in my opinion.

So if you're looking for true HEAT - I would say definitely start at the hot spice level or maybe even the Burrrrn Baby Burn. Also - I think the price point may be a deterrent for some people, seeing as a sandwich alone (with no fries or drink) is $14. The combo is $20 and a kids meal is $11. So keep that in mind if you're trying to be frugal. You could definitely get more for your money at Ricky's or Dave's. But anyway, - all in all, I really enjoyed my meal and I'm excited to come back and try other things...

I came to Crimson Coward for the first time and was highly disappointed. I ordered exactly at 8:38pm, and received my food around 9:25-9:30 (wasn’t busy when we walked in). Before walking in, I asked the guy at the register if they had honey and they replied yes. After some of my group ordered, he told me they were out of honey. Slight disappointment since I was craving honey with chicken, but it was fine. There were only 2 employees working on a Friday night, with only 1 person cooking, while the other at the register. The employee cooking kept getting distracted by having multiple conversations with everyone while making the food. The guy at the register was not even attempting to help, as he was just staring at the cook making himself seem busy playing with the bags by the register, until the cook asked him to help. We asked the person at the register if they could wipe the table since it was dirty, and after 10 min of waiting, I ended up cleaning it myself. My friends and brother claimed this place was amazing, but I will never come back again after having such a horrible experience. What a disappointment this was, especially after driving almost half an hour to get here. After receiving my food, they forgot to put chicken in the loaded fries, the chicken in my brothers sandwich was undercooked, and the bread on my friends garlic twist was burnt. They were at least nice enough to give us popsicles for the wait. 1/100 stars
