Okay. I have a lot to say so bear with me. First things first, this was my first time here and the line was out the door. I didn’t really want to stay but I gave myself a time limit of 15 minutes and said if I’m not serviced by then, I’d leave… I made it to the front in less than seven minutes! There were 3 young people up front. A Black girl with dreadlocks and two younger people next to her. It was frantic and the cashier girl kept handing her tickets back to back to back. She and the young man kept reassuring everyone they would be right with us and they were handling the pressure oh so well! They didn’t let it get to them once (I got their names before I left, Ms. Drea and Aiden). When I finally made it up to the front, you could tell they were tired and things were crazy but Drea made sure to greet me with “Thank you so much for being patient. I’ll be right with you.” As she handed a few tickets down the line to Aiden, she got back with me in a jiffy. I’d never been here before so I didn’t know what to get and while there was still a line of customers behind me, Ms. Drea treated me as if I wasn’t wasting her time. She was kind and patient with me and walked me through every step until I got what it was that I wanted. (I wound up creating my own pasta). When I got to Aiden he was just as friendly and bubbly as Drea and they didn’t make it seem like they were trying to rush us all out the door. They made sure to treat every one of us like a customer and not just a number. I will definitely be back! HOWever, the girl at the end of the line was of absolutely no assistance! If it wasn’t for her uniform, I wouldn’t have even known she was a worker! She stood there idle as Drea and Aiden ran circles around her. I mean literally just stood there! I’ve worked in fast food before so I know how it is when those fight or flight skills kick in. This young lady had NONE! I didn’t get that girl’s name but I was sure to ask the cashier of Drea and Aiden’s names before I left because they deserve recognition. Not only was the food exceptional but the service was top tier! I’ll be sure to come back when I’m on this side of town again. Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to...
Read moreThe food is great but the service is horrible. My family and I have been there twice and each time we got bad customer service from different people. The first time, the General Manager apologized for the server's behavior and promised that we would get a better service on our next visit. 3 weeks later, my pasta was served almost cold. I went back to ask for my food to be warmedup but instead I was almost ignored and treated very rudely by a server and the shift Manager (who served my food the first time) At the end the cashier offered to serve me a new plate. The server intervened and served my pasta without using the pan to warm it up. The shift Manager was next to this server and didn't say anything about the way she served my pasta. When I pointed my observation to the Manager, she responded that if I wasn't satisfied with my food, she could just give me a refund.
I told her I didn't want a refund, I wanted my pasta to be served warm. But I actually wanted to just leave this place. However, watching my daughter sitting at a table eating alone, I just took My plate and asked to speak with the General Manager.
Of course, after I asked for the General's Manager, the shift Manager came to my table to apologize for the inconvenience and explained that they no longer use the burner to warm up the food only a hot pan(which wasn't used by the server) Also, per this Manager, they are only allowed to serve 4 Oz of pasta for a regular bowl? I'm not sure about that but I paid almost $11 for half of a small bowl of pasta.
So in my opinion: food is good but unpleasant to eat, portion is ridiculous for the price, and service is horrible = NOT...
Read moreI chose Piada for a group lunch meeting with my coworkers and was excited to try it for the first time. I carefully wrote down everyone’s order to ensure accuracy and walked in feeling prepared. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the line food preparer—a woman with black glasses and a ponytail. However, instead of a warm welcome, I was met with immediate attitude. She abruptly asked, “What do you want?” in a tone that made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I let her know it was my first time visiting and that I had six orders. To make things easier, I even offered her my written list. She took it with an unpleasant look and quickly began complaining, raising her voice and saying, “Ugh, you didn’t even put what meat you want!” I apologized and told her that chicken would be fine for all of them. From that point on, she continued making my food with clear frustration, acting as if I was a burden rather than a paying customer. She kept questioning and scolding me about what should be in each dish, making the entire experience uncomfortable. What stood out even more was that she didn’t treat the customers behind me the same way. The only positive part of my visit was the cashier he was incredibly kind and professional. Unfortunately, that didn’t make up for how unwelcome I felt. To make matters worse, the food was disappointing. My Alfredo sauce was bland and watery, and the chicken lacked any flavor. Overall, between the poor service and underwhelming food, my experience at Piada was truly disappointing. I left feeling disrespected and let down. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, I wont...
