Disappointment Taco

You're in DFW. There are so many good options, but here you are at the food court; hungry. Don't stop and eat here.

The beans are runny and the rice is bland. The onions and cilantro and skimpy for the price. My street tacos had a mass amount of chewy fat in a lot of my bites. The meat was like ground beef. Who puts ground beef in a street taco? Didn't get any salsa when I asked for it. The soda machine was flat and bland too.

What a horrible place to eat at, calling themselves "Dallas Taco." I think Disappointment Taco would suit your business better. Maybe overpriced sad Taco, too. 35$ for two orders of the most disgraceful culinary disaster to enter into my mouth, trying to disguise itself as something many people know and love.

Go eat at Popeyes right next door if you end up here. At least you know what you're getting.

Thanks for my hearing...

Was not thinking of doing a review but I saw a lot of negative reviews and thought I should add my thoughts because I honestly don't understand where all the negativity is coming from. I can only review the Fajita Burrito because that's all I have tried here but I'm not lying when I tell you it's freaking amazing. I love this burrito and don't understand why anyone else won't either. My brother in law came to visit from Louisiana and while shopping I told him he needed to try this burrito and he also agreed it was bad a...Now each time we go to the movies, my wife and I have to stop and get a burrito. Mmmmmm...so good. Oh, I've tried chipotle and I prefer this one. This one is more "hole in the wallish" compared to...

The cashier that took our order was nice didn’t get his name but he was an old gentleman. However their was hair on a piece of corn in my taco bowl the only reason I noticed was because I don’t like corn and it wasn’t listed on the list of ingredients for my menu item. Which was fine I was still going to eat it anyways except for the hair on my corn. I went to go speak with the cooks and their talking to me passive aggressive as if they didn’t just serve me food with HAIR. The hair was short I’m assuming possibly coming from fácil hair which isn’t a surprise as no one was wearing a hair mask or beard mask. The food not good enough for them to be behaving in...

Overall, pretty good, especially for a mall food court joint! I’ve only been here once though. Got the three taco plate. Tried ground beef, chicken and steak. All were real good. The only thing that caught me off guard and that made it a not as enjoyable experience is the onions. They put raw, diced onions on all of the tacos. For the higher ups within the company that may not know what tacos in Dallas are actually like, tacos here do not typically include diced raw onions. With that exception, it was a really good place and experience! Tortilla soup and charro beans were real good as well!

The team members at Dallas Taco are always quick but polite! They give great recommendations and have quite a few bundle deal options throughout the week. Love the food; not too heavy but still flavorful depending on what you get! My favorite is the steak tacos. Appreciate the work they put in here! The location is in a mall so it can be quite noisy and hot but that is no fault of theirs! Definitely busy on weekends no matter the time of year. Love to pop in on weekdays. Photo is of their manager special; their street taco varieties are my preference but wanted to try something different.

I was walking around the mall and started craving nachos. Found this stall in the food court and gave it a shot. The nachos were perfectly thin and crispy. The cheese and beans were hot and savory. The fajita meat was pretty good too. The salsa was spicy and the guacamole was refreshing. I ordered the Dallas Nachos with Fajita meat. A little pricey at $17.96 (including tax) but enough to feed two people. Definitely coming back!
