2930 Preston Rd Suite 190, Frisco, TX. On April 28, 2025, around 12:45 pm. I normally don’t write about restaurants or give bad reviews. However, I’m not willing to let this slide by without saying something about my experience. I’m going to start off by saying that this wasn’t the first time. I thought I was tripping or overthinking the entire situation. I had been going to Fuzzy’s Taco for a few months, mostly in the morning before I go to work. I would stop by, pick up three grilled shrimp tacos, and the manager would hold a brief conversation with me, like 'How’s your morning going?' Just small talk. I had started to notice that when I ordered my food, it would take more than 15 minutes to get it. But I also noticed that when other customers arrived after me, they would get their food before me. I said to myself, 'Maybe they called in their order.' But no, that wasn’t the case. I watched them prepare their food. So, the customers who arrived after me got served before me. When I did get my food, it was cold. I noticed this happened a few times. So, I didn’t go back for a little while. About a month ago, I decided to go to Fuzzy’s Taco for lunch. I proceeded to get in line like everyone else. Well, tell me, while I’m standing in line, the cashier took everyone’s order that was behind me, as if I wasn’t there to be seen. So, I didn’t go back after that until yesterday. Around 12:45 pm, I arrived at Fuzzy’s Taco. There were two guys on lunch placing their orders. I was next in line, I placed my order. After me, there were two guys and then a lady who didn’t look like me. I had been waiting for my food for 10 minutes or more. This lady said, 'You’ve been standing here for a minute.' I responded by saying, 'Yes!' I told her what I had experienced with Fuzzy’s in the past. So, I gave it a few more minutes. Customers were all getting their orders, even the lady. So, finally, I had gotten tired of waiting. I went to the cashier and asked for my money back. The cashier wanted to know why. I told him that every customer who came in after me had received their food. I told him this was the reason why I had stopped coming to eat at Fuzzy’s. They all of a sudden gave me my food that had been sitting there, and now the food was cold. I told the cashier that I didn’t want it, just give me my money back. While I waited for the cashier to void my order, I asked to speak to the manager, who is the same guy that had held a conversation with me when I would go in the morning. I proceeded to tell the manager my concerns. I also mentioned that I felt like it was discrimination and that I was being treated differently. The manager didn’t acknowledge how I felt. No, wait, he said that he didn’t feel like that, and that he didn’t know what I was on. I told the manager, 'Oh, okay, I see now where the employees get it from.' After the manager had said that with no apology, I told the manager, 'It’s okay, just give me my money back.' I also told him that I wouldn’t be back. Okay! The real Sherry, you know my twin Gemini, she woke up. Sherry is nothing to fool with. So, while Sherry is speaking in her calm voice, repeat, 'Just give me my money back.' This guy is going to tell me that I was now banned from coming to Fuzzy’s, even after I told this racist bastard that I wouldn’t be back. He continued to talk. Sherry looked at him and said, 'Are you still talking, and why?' I had to keep in mind that I had on my work clothes with the name of my company on my shirt. If I didn’t have my work clothes on, I would be telling a different kind of story. Anyway, what do y’all think that I should do? Oh! Sherry is Shirley’s...

In fact, I was never able to try the food because my order was never made. How does this happen? How is it possible for me to stand there in front of the pick-up window patiently waiting, thinking I called my order in so I shouldn't have to wait that long which is the whole point of calling in an order because I'm expecting faster service since I took the extra effort to give your employees a little extra time to make my order so I would be able to enter the building, pay for my food, and pick up my food in an efficient manner. What do I get instead? Ignored!! Thank you for ignoring me and calling out the order numbers that are after mine!! Thank you for losing my order and not caring enough to check on it or to have any kind of organization that would expedite called in orders so the people that have a reason to call in can pick up their food in a quick and efficient manner!! I really appreciate wasting my time standing in your restaurant watching the cooks make other peoples food while I'm wondering where my food is, you know, since I called it in!! I guess I should learn my lesson and not take the time to call in my orders, I guess it is my fault and I should do like everyone else and go in to order my food because if I had done this then somehow in the messed up and unorganized way the orders are printed up and made, I would have been one of the satisfied customers since that seems like the only way to get any food in you restaurant! I'm also disappointed that I left there hungry, after a certain point it becomes so frustrating waiting for some tacos that should only take about 3 mins to make that a person just gives up and walks out. That was my experience, I was in a hurry going to an appointment and thought, hmm, I'm here near this Fuzzy Taco place, let me call in my order so I won't be late to my appt and I should be able to pick up the order without much time, nope, I guess I was wrong for expecting this, what was I thinking, oh, I guess I was thinking that this restaurant cared about its guests. I now know that this is another "thank you for your money, now please move so we can get more money from the people behind you" types of restaurant. I will be telling everyone I can tell about my experience so they can avoid going through the frustration I felt being treated in the dis-respectable way I was treated!! No one should have to go through an experience like this, no one should have to feel like they were disrespected...

What everyone DOESN’T know about, but what would AND should make a difference in your decision of where to frequent, is the staff. Especially, the bar staff. Amanda, Dallas, Sydney, Lauren, and Tim have got the idea of customer service down to a fine art. Every single one of them is attentive. Every single one of them knows how to put a drink, whether it’s as easy as a shot, a pulled draft, a shot, and a cocktail. I frequent this particular location expressly because of the camaraderie that is see and feel amongst the staff and the patronage. YOU, yeah…. All of you, should give this location your patronage. You will make friends. You will get great food, you will receive amazing service. Not because it’s their job; because they want to make everything right for whomever shows up. C’mon down and experience the service that you’ve been looking for.
Update 4/4/24
A year later and this establishment is still rocking my world! It is ridiculous that this place isn’t more frequented. But…, you know what? I’m kind of glad that it’s a bit more homie… Only because I enjoy the knowledge that I am not only known by all the staff, but also appreciated by the staff! Sydnie is one of the best bartenders in their stable. Fun-loving, smart as a whip, and can even do a round off backflip!! I still cannot believe that she pulled that off on a date in the small bartender area. Sydnie not only knows everyone’s names, but also their drinks if you’re regular enough. Quick-witted and pretty to boot! When I walk in and see her behind the bar, I know that I am going to be taken care of 😊. Great...
