Hudson House Frisco — Restaurant in Frisco

Oh boy. I’ve never in my life been blatantly declined food. Been going to Addison & Dallas for years and it’s my favorite. Frisco location tonight I ordered the HH burger and asked for it well done. Burger comes and it’s not- so I just asked for a recook. Bartender said “they’re all cooked medium because they’re thin and if it’s well done it’ll lose flavor.” I told her for health reasons I needed it well done. She comes back and tells me they will not cook it well done. I asked for a manager as I was starving. He said they basically don’t bad food reviews during a soft opening so they will not cook it well done. “A patty that thin the chef says will lose flavor” even thought I ASKED for it well done, despite that. They blatantly declined to cook it that way, even when asked for food safety.

I have never in my life been turned down a food item, especially to ensure food temperature safety, as ground beef should be cooked all the way through, or provided if requested. I left hungry, and expressed my deepest frankly anger & disappointment in that choice of theirs— declining a patron food cooked thoroughly even when asked.
