Palio's Pizza Cafe of Frisco — Restaurant in Frisco

Wonderful customer service and delicious food! I am writing this review almost after a month (skipped my mind). However, I am still leaving the feedback because the customer service was exceptional and it definitely deserves acknowledgement.

We dined in at Palio's legacy for one of my kids’ birthdays after an activity. Before planning this event, I also call ahead a few days back and the staff over the phone was also extremely helpful :) We follow a plant-based diet and this is one of the very few places where they carry vegan cheese and offer to customize our pizzas. We ordered Half n Half (Scorcher without meat, Hawaiian without bacon (Both replace cheese with Vegan cheese) and Veggie Pizzas with Vegan cheese instead of regular). The manager, Mark, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He was extremely courteous and very helpful. The food was delicious, they even baked us vegan bread sticks (not on the menu) and the kids absolutely loved it. Though it wasn't expected, Mark himself provided plenty of plates, napkins, silverware, etc.on our table. He checked on us multiple times during the dinner and also asked us not to clean up! I personally prefer to leave the place clean so I took care of the trash and other things but he made sure that we and the kids enjoyed the celebration. All in all, the experience was beyond expectations. I typically choose Blaze or Palio's for our vegan pizza options, but after this experience, Palio's is my first choice. I love Palio's, and I have been to quite a few of their locations over the years, but this location was by far was the best I have been to!!!

The food was absolutely amazing, but the service took it to an entirely different level of great experience! They are so friendly and kind in helping you figure out what you want and are flexible in how you build out the food (medium half pepperoni, half veggie so both me and my wife are happy!). Also, I can't recommend the dry rub wings enough, as I have not been able to find better tasting seasoning on wings ANYWHERE! I spoke with the GM Jacob (hope that is the right spelling) about the seasoning while I was there and asked if I could buy some. Instead, he went a step further and made me a sample to take and gave me the blend recipe they use so that I can attempt it at home on my own!

Seriously, go here if you want great food, a chill environment, and awesome service!!!

(Not reducing any stars for this, but for full transparency and honesty in the review, I do need to mention that we did ask for no mushrooms on the veggie half, but they were still left on the pizza. However, we're used to picking them off anywhere else we go, and small things like that don't bother us much, especially when everything else...

My cousins took me to this pizzaria this evening to meet up with some friends they had been wanting me to meet.

First, let me explain. Even though it's technically an Itallian eatery, I'm always on the lookout for a decent Greek gyro. They had it on the menu, I was feeling adventurous, so I ordered one.

It came out and looked great! I couldn't see in the kitchen, so I can't say if the meat was prepared the traditional way, but it tasted as if it were.

The meat was tender and full of flavor. The flatbread it rested upon was fresh and also flavorful. The lettuce & tomato with feta sprinkled over the top was a perfect balance. The cup of cucumber sauce spread over the sandwich complimented every bite. I don't like to use the word perfect, but this was damn close.

The service was above average, with careful attention paid to every detail. My cousins ordered salad and a chicken mac & cheese dish that looked tremendous. I was simply too busy cramming my gyro in my face to try it.

This is a very casual BYOB, family friendly pizzeria you will most definitely want to treat your family...
