Market Street — Local services in Frisco

I can’t say enough good things about pharmacist Richland and pharmacist Viet at Market Street Pharmacy in Frisco, but beyond the pharmacy, Market Street itself is a fantastic store! I’ve always been impressed with their service and overall shopping experience. The store consistently has great prices, especially with all the promotions and coupons they offer. I love how they bag your groceries and even take them out to your car—it’s such a thoughtful touch that shows they really care about their customers. The friendly service extends beyond the checkout line. Even the butchers, who used to intimidate me a bit, are super approachable and always happy to help!

As for the pharmacy, Richland truly goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable during my visits. I was particularly anxious about getting my vaccine, but she took the time to calm me down, chatting with me about my interests, and even fanned me when I started to feel overheated. She didn’t just provide the vaccine—she made sure I had all the information I needed, answered my questions, and even gave me coupons to save on future visits. Pharmacist Viet is just as wonderful, delivering excellent service with a smile. Both of them consistently provide top-notch care that makes Market Street my go-to pharmacy.

One small improvement I’d love to see is an app that works well to help customers find items in-store. While the store layout is generally intuitive, it would be even better if I could search for products and get an exact aisle location, especially when I’m in a hurry. That being said, the store’s great prices, friendly service, and the overall welcoming atmosphere keep me coming back. I placed my very first catering order with Market Street after a friend recommended it for a work event. I was running late the day of the event—which I was also hosting and presenting at—when I arrived to pick up the order and heard the dreaded words: “I have you down for next Friday.” My heart dropped. I didn’t even think to double-check the website confirmation in my rush. With tears threatening to fall and a 30+ minute drive ahead of me to Dallas, Anna at the catering desk looked me in the eye and said, “Give me 20 minutes—I’ll make it happen.”

She literally ran to the back and worked her magic. Twenty minutes later, she wheeled out a cart with everything I originally ordered: sandwiches, cookies, cheese trays, and fruit trays—everything. She even included spatulas and my receipt, all perfectly packed and ready to go. She was breaking a sweat from how hard she worked to pull it off. Anna didn’t just save the day—she saved me from a complete disaster.

You don’t see service like this anymore. Most people would’ve just said “Sorry, we can’t.” But not Anna. Her hustle, her problem-solving, and her heart to serve made me a loyal customer for life. This review is specifically for the bakery. I placed an order for my son’s birthday cake several days before his party and was told I can pick up by 11am on the day of the party. The cake I chose was one of their own designs with adding the words “happy birthday “ to the front of it. Even though it was a simple order, I triple checked details (pointing to the cake on display)- the lady in the bakery assured me we were on the same page. The day of my son’s party, my husband goes to pick up the cake, and they cannot find our order. After about 10 minutes wasted searching for it, the lady says she found it and shows my husband. It is a completely different design than what was ordered/discussed days prior. Our son’s party starts in 30 minutes and we don’t have the cake we ordered because market street dropped the ball! The lady at the bakery tells my husband she can make our cake in 10 -15 minutes! I’ve attached a pic of the sloppy work done. Market street expected us to still pay full price for their mistake. My husband was finally able to get some sort of discount, but in my opinion, it should have been free. When it was time to cut the cake at the party, IT WAS FROZEN.
