Came here to celebrate my man's birthday and everything was FANTASTIC! First of all - it is SO cute in here. Seriously, the decor?? TOP TIER. Second - the customer service?? INCREDIBLE. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, and welcoming! What's crazy is, I actually had to cancel this reservation a few weeks prior due a family emergency, and ended up rebooking for a new date as soon as I had the chance. Somehow, the manager remembered my name and was like "I'm so glad you were able to make it in this time. I saw you had to cancel the previous reservation." That alone blew me away!! Like how on earth did she remember that tiny detail from a few weeks ago?!?! So unexpected and so thoughtful! ANYWAY - that sweet interaction set the tone for the rest of the evening and everything that followed was IMMACULATE!!
To start we had: the Moo Ping, Coconut Shrimp, and the Thai Chicken wings. While everything was good, those WINGS?!?!?! NEXT LEVEL. I actually ended up ordering another batch immediately after because they were so delicious!! Perfectly crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside and SO well seasoned. Seriously - THE BEST!!
For entrees - my man did the Massaman curry and I did the Thai Charm Beef Salad. Both entrees were SO GOOD!! The salad was SO fresh and flavorful!! The beef was super tender and well seasoned, and the dressing added the PERFECT tangy zest!! Absolutely loved it!! The curry was delicious as well! We both loved it!! My man always loves everything super spicy, so he got the highest spice level for the curry - but still didn't think it was hot, meanwhile - it was spicy to me (I can tolerate a little bit of spice lol), so keep that in mind if you're a spice lover!!
THEN - at the very end, they brought us a complimentary birthday cheesecake, which was such a sweet surprise!! It was so rich, creamy, and delicious. On top of that, we ordered the fried ice cream and it was an absolute DREAM!! Seriously - SO GOOD!!
Honestly - I knew this place was going to be good but I guess I wasn't prepared for HOW GOOD!! Both of us absolutely LOVED IT and we will be...
Read moreThai Charm is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Thai food. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere transports you straight to Thailand. The decor is elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food—hands down, some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve had in Texas. The Tom Kha was the standout for me—perfectly balanced, rich, and aromatic with a depth of flavor that’s hard to find anywhere else. Easily the best I’ve had in Texas. The Tom Yum was equally impressive, with just the right amount of tang and spice to awaken your taste buds.
The Pad Thai was perfectly executed, with that signature balance of sweet, savory, and umami flavors. The Green Curry was silky smooth with a deep, fragrant coconut base, packed with tender meat and fresh veggies. The Thai Beef Salad was incredibly fresh, with vibrant herbs and a zesty dressing that made every bite burst with flavor. And of course, the Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect ending—sweet, creamy, and incredibly satisfying.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food made with care and tradition, Thai Charm is the place to go. Every dish was flavorful, well-executed, and truly transported me back to Thailand....
Read moreA relatively hidden gem of excellent Thai cuisine! I was impressed.
I ordered a Thai iced tea, and it had just the right amount of sweetness and a brilliant, blaze-orange color. I forgot to take a photo! It reminded me of a Chinese restaurant my mother and I used to frequent back in Portland, Oregon, memories I carry very fondly.
For food, I ordered the signature duck dish. I don’t remember what it was called, but it was under the signature dishes page, fourth one down.
Let’s just say… I used to not be a huge fan of duck, that is, for eating. But after having that dish, my opinion completely changed! I now consider duck to be a protein I genuinely like, and I cleaned my plate. The duck was crispy and flavorful, and everything else on the plate (flat noodles and a few different vegetables, including dried Thai basil! That was very nice) was just as flavorful too.
I love the atmosphere, too. A tasteful mix of white marble, navy blue, and gold. You see it in the menus too, which are so presentable and a work of art! I especially loved the use of watercolor paint in the menu design, from a graphical perspective.
I highly recommend this place. Everything about it is perfect, both to look at,...
