My son's football team was having a team lunch here on a Saturday and the restaurant donated a portion of the sales for the afternoon to the team. I've been to a few of these places before, including this one, and they're decent sports bar & grills. The food is generally pretty good as well as the atmosphere and service. This visit in particular was a little different due to the crowd, lots of people and lots of young teenage boys spread around. So, it was tough on the servers to get all the orders out in an accurate and timely manner. I ordered some mozzarella sticks, and a chicken fajita. My wife got the Atlantic Salmon, rice and broccoli and my son ordered the Cue Bacon Cheeseburger because he wanted the biggest burger they had and they were out of the Prime. The mozzarella sticks came out first and they were pretty good! You might be thinking "of course fried cheese is good" and you'd be right, but they're different levels of good and these were on the higher side. The wait for the rest of the food was a little on the long side, maybe 20-25 minutes, but it was really hectic in there. My chicken fajita and my wife's salmon came out and I checked with the waitress about my son's burger (he was sitting at a different table with his teammates) and she assured me she brought it to him. We ate our food, the fajita was good and a pretty decent portion. My wife didn't especially care for her salmon but she's unreasonably picky so don't let that sway you😂 A few minutes after we finished eating my son comes over and asks about his burger, turns out he never got it. I told the server and she apologized profusely and said she'll get it made. Then the manager came over and apologized as well and said they'll take care of it. The server came back with some more complimentary mozzarella sticks for my son, then a few minutes later brought his burger, which they comped and gave him a free pint of their Capt Jacks Buried Treasure ice cream. My son was more than happy with how they took care of him and so was I. I know this is long but I was super impressed with the way they handled that and I'll definitely go back. Great experience overall and the whole team enjoyed...

We are 65 so we prefer not to sit at uncomfortable high back tables, we requested a booth and it seemed like a major inconvenience for the hostess even though there were plenty of open tables. We ordered two cobb salads and water but waited a ridiculous amount of time for the salad. From my seat I could see a whole bunch of food orders in the window and I could even see the cooks struggling to find space to put more orders up so the problem was definitely not with the cooks. Numerous wait staff came to look at the food and a monitor only to just walk away from the food. The Manager walked by a few times but never looked at all the orders piling up on the shelf. Finally one server came to get his orders and then most of the food was delivered while our salads just sat first in line in the window. I don't know if our waitress was clueless or if it is your monitor system but when she FINALLY delivered our salads the grilled shrimp was cold from sitting on the salad so long. We also never got knives only a fork. We frequent the San Jose, Mandarin location monthly and this location is actually closer to us but the service is terrible. When I moved my plate the bottom felt like it had old food stuck to the bottom and I really hoped the top was clean before my food was put on it. The waitress came to our table once to bring me a second glass of water and then to remove my first empty glass but never mentioned the food. We were getting ready to walk out when the food was...

🍽 What’s on the Plate

Last night, I stopped by Miller's Ale House and decided to try something I hadn't ordered before the Cilantro Lime Chicken. And let me just say, it was a surprisingly refreshing choice, especially for a place known for wings and zingers. The chicken came out sizzling hot, grilled to perfection and smothered in a tangy cilantro lime butter that hit all the right notes. It wasn't overpowering just the right balance of citrusy zest and herby richness. On the side, the cilantro lime rice and sautéed vegetables made for a great combination, especially with the black bean and corn salsa adding a southwestern twist. What really stood out to me was how fresh everything tasted. The pico de gallo added brightness, and the crumbled queso fresco brought a creamy, salty kick that tied it all together. It was hearty without feeling too heavy, but not the kind of meal that leaves you sluggish. If you're looking for a protein-packed option with bold flavor and a bit of flair, this one's worth a try. Just be mindful it's a big portion, so ended up boxing half of it for lunch the next day (and it reheated surprisingly wel!). Grilled chicken breasts glazed with cilantro lime butter

Accompanied by black bean–corn salsa, pico de gallo, and crumbled queso fresco

Served with mixed vegetables and cilantro lime rice

👍 Pros

High in protein (~70 g), great for muscle recovery.

Who It’s Best For 👍

Good for those seeking a high-protein meal with...

I'm not a picky person. I'm actually VERY laid back, I was a waitress back in the day so I get it. My hubz on the other hand.. he has no patience with anything. So we compromised. There are only a handful of pet peeves or standards we expect: 1- keep the drinks coming. The Hubz drinks his sodas quickly and often. This is his most frequent complaint. Tonight his drink was refilled once, even after asking for another. 2- Apps CANT come out with the food. We try to order apps when we order drinks but tonight's waitress asked if we were ready with our whole order so we thought she could handle it. Quite a bit of time had passed and that's when we realized that all the food was definitely going to come out at once. Ugh. Box please. 3- not as important as the previous 2 but still worth mentioning. Tonight I had a sirloin, Tuesday deal! We received our food but the waitress was gone so fast I never got to ask for steak sauce. She didn't come back until we were ready for our check, so I just took the steak home. We are avid Millers fans. It was our go to sports viewing bar (when there were games to watch/ covid) so we hadn't been in a few months. We'll go back and I'm sure it'll be better.

We love Miller's Ale House. This is our first time at the Orange Park location. The place was not busy at all. It was July 4th. But it was also our 7th wedding anniversary. My husband had the Ossobuco. I had the Teriyaki steak wonton skewer. The only real complaint was that the baked potato was terrible. The waiter even said it was very hard when he brought it out and offered another side. It was burnt and the skin was tough as steel. I scraped some of it out and ate it anyways. We had the jalapeno bites as an appetizer. They were delicious. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I would highly recommend Millers. Visited on 1 November 24 with my husband, son and daughter in law. The food was great. The waitress was gawd awful. Slow. Brought my salad after I was eating dinner. No drink refills. I had jalapeno poppers so I needed water. Got none. The manager was apologizing and gave us a few dollars off. It was my husband's birthday celebration too bad she ruined it. Our food was good. We will return.
