Learn how to treat your employees for starters. If you learned how to do that you wouldn’t have lost your best employee. You kept saying “she doesn’t know anything” when you asked her to do stuff a MANAGER (that’s YOU) should know how to do. I think you need to learn how to run a restaurant and not expect your employee to do it without proper pay and training. New food is terrible. New menu is terrible. If you want to go out of business by all means continue with “your way.” But the old way of doing things is the only thing that MIGHT save this place at this point. The pho broth is just.. sad. Portions seem pre-measured. You won’t bring back people in a dying business by being stingy. New boba recipe made me want to scream. Why can’t you just keep the old boba recipe people actually LIKED? Also not trying to be a Karen but LEARN ENGLISH. If you’re going to have a business in America learn to speak our language, that’s basic respect for residing in...
Read moreThis place must be under new ownership, went in for a quick lunch must I say was the worse decision ever. I ordered pho with everything but to my disappointment I took a bite of the meatball and had to spit it out. I usually ordered meatball all the time but this time it tasted off so putting that aside. No one came to check or ask at all and sitting thur banging and drilling noises which was supposed to be a quiet lunch wasn’t so much at all. The man that was serving came up and gave a check but never once check how or that my glass of water was totally empty. His remark after picking up my plate was u should order the one w no meatball( smart comment) so to me I do not need you to teach me how to order but instead listen to what is wrong. Never will ever step a foot in there again. I know it’s a small restaurant but learn customer service cause without that I don’t think you will own that...
Read moreCan't add much to the chorus of praise already present. We've been in Jax for 4 years (was in Southern California before) and for the longest time felt like Bowl of Pho was the best option. Dead wrong! We stumbled upon this place after a swim meet on a cold day. Ding ding ding! Now this place is as legit as any Pho restaurant we've had back in Westminster, CA (Vietnamese-American capitol of the USA)!
For any serious Pho eater, you just need to get the house special (aka Everything aka Dac Biet) in large size and pig out! Bonus points if you go on a cold day. Mmhm now that hits the spot. Broth is rich and you can tell it's been slow cooked for hours and hours. Noodles have great texture. Beef is tender and flavorful.
Prices are rather competitive vs the competition. I'd say on average a buck cheaper per bowl.
Nothing more to say that hasn't already been said....
