I've always been the type of person to spontaneously walk into a shop to get a piercing. That said, I've always gone to shops that had great reviews or had glowing remarks from friends; yet, I've had my cartilage pierced 4 times and conch pierced twice prior to this shop and they got infected every time.

Against all odds, I walked into this shop, Don was my piercer and 4 days later, not only is there no infection, but there's little to no pain or irritation. No redness at all, I slept on the side I was pierced on last night.

Don's education and dedication to a sterile environment and integrity of the body made all the difference. Don shined a light through my ear to locate and avoid my capillaries, something no piercer has ever taken the time to do, regardless of my concerns of infection. He does this for everyone, regardless of their history. In addition, this shop only orders their surgical steel from one supplier that guarantees their steel is medical grade. They also use the same gauge needle as the jewelry they put in which reduces the gaps between the skin and metal, reduces the chance of the jewelry sliding and pushing bacteria into the wound. Don notified me all of their piercers take this level of care and caution.

In addition, the shop is very reasonably priced for the level of experience of their staff.

Had my Nose Pierced by Jayme the night after my daughters were pierced. One septum and one helix. They were still laughing when they got home and I was so relieved because this Mom knew they were nervous. I loved how he used humor to diffuse them and let them ease through it. We all went back the next day with another daughter and they were right. Just the right amount of humor. Very clean. Always telling us what to expect so no surprises. We were laughing the whole time. Thank you for a great experience. I was not sure about it. I’ve hit it a thousand times, but it just keeps on staying put. No problems at all. Makes me want to try the helix. Forget piercing pagoda. The tattoo artist there (with the gauges) didn’t impress me with his girlfriend finishing his every sentence. She seemed a little young and very unprofessional while talking to new customers and her legs draped over his. Too big of an age difference honestly. Please tell me she is over 18. After seeing some work done on a friend of mine by Lou Hansen, my wife and I stopped in Saturday afternoon. We talked with Lou, and my wife showed him what she wanted. He said, "Give me a few," and he drew it up." Lou does awesome work, and his attention to detail is great. We enjoyed our conversation with him while he inked my wifes leg. He's very down to earth and, as said before, great at what he does. After he finished her tattoo, we discussed my tattoo and what I wanted. Mine is going to be about 3 hours, so I'm going to set that up in the future. I then showed him a drawing my son had done in elementary school, welp next thing he had it drawn up and inked me too. Both tattos came out amazing. Mine looked exactly like my son's drawing, which made me very happy. I can't wait to see what he does with my future tattoo. Everyone one in the shop is down to earth and very nice. I could not have gotten a better experience than the one we had. 8-22-24 update, all three of us in the house have gotten new tattoos by Lou.
