Crepes Bonaparte - Fullerton — Restaurant in Fullerton

This is a nice little eating spot tucked into a small courtyard in downtown Fullerton. They have a variety of Crepes both sweet and savory for about $8-9 each. Their breakfast crepes are served all day. They offered a choice of about 5 savory and 5 breakfast crepes plus an additional larger variety of sweet or dessert crepes. They also offer several types of champagne mimosas for about $3.50 plus a small selection of wine. This place was very busy on a Wed. weeknight at about 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. with lots of walk in traffic. I was told the place really gets hopping on the weekends. The two young women handling the walk up counter and crepe station were both extremely friendly and helpful. You can watch your crepes being made and the wait was minimal. They were quick and efficient. Once you grab your food you take it out the door to eat on their patio that had about 6 clean and colorful wooden tables available. My husband and I sampled 2 savory crepes and 2 sweet crepes and we both liked all 4 of them. For a light meal this was perfect. My husband, who had eaten a snack earlier, was completely satisfied but I was extremely hungry when we arrived and didn't feel the crepe was quite big enough to satisfy me for dinner all on its own as it did not come with anything else. First time going and most likely last. The crepes were ok but what I didnt like was that they say they are open til 10 but we got there at about 920 we were asked if we wanted them to eat there and we said yes. Crepes were ready at exactly 930 and were given to us bagged. I told them that we had asked for them to eat there and we were told that as of 930 it's only to go because they are getting ready to close?! So why ask if we want to eat in?! At the same time about 10 more customers walked thru the door so they were still going to be there for a while. We could have easily eat our crepes there and finished before 10. Instead we ended up with cold crepes which might have been better warm and over bought items like soda and milk because if I would've known that we were going to be forced to get them to go I wouldn't have bought what I already have at home.

IF YOU HAVE YOUR MIND SET ON SOMETHING TO GET, BUT THEN LAST MINUTE DECIDE TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE... DONT!.. LOL. OR ELSE YOU'LL REGRET IT, LIKE I DID. I'VE ALWAYS GOT THE "BANANA FROSTER"(HIGHLY RECOMMEND). AND I HAD BEEN CRAVING IT. BUUUT, UGH, I WAS CONTEMPLATING ON TRYING SOMETHING ELSE.
