Being diagnosed with my disability has been rough but shopping here for years is my therapy and my service dog helps me Incase I have a seizure which alerts people and does also alert me for medication time . Yesterday sage asked me in the beginning how I was doing with my shopping which was nice and didnt mind my service dog. After 45 min of shopping one employee disgruntled my service dog by almost stepping on him who is only 7 months and when my service dog sat up and greeted her to pet him and instead reminded me rudly only service dogs allowed and told me to leave after I explained to her he's a service dog. After feeling pushed out and alienated I then called talked to sage the manager and told her my experience and she said my service dog jumped towards her employee which was a lie and continued to talk over me defending employee even tho she acknowledge me and my service dog with no faults on dog. I told sage il let corporate or her boss know tomorrow about my medical records and this incident and she continued to insult me by saying i don't need to bring up medical records to them I ended the call saying this is my condition and what happened and I feel horrible that sage would talk over me and filibuster the conversation and wouldn't leave room for this disabled man to speak. We ended call on a high note saying there's no issue but plz train your employee not to almost step and disrupt service dog and that it's not ok. Worst experience at buffalo here in Fullerton but won't let it ruin my future shopping here. I will update her and this review later after I talk with her boss or corperate. Romans 3:23

My wife and I paid a visit to the Costa Mesa location in an attempt to sell off some extra clothing that we didn’t want to see under sold at a thrift store. Mostly due to a few antique/vintage pieces from my grandmother I’ve held on too for way too long. That location couldn’t accommodate us (Nor were they very friendly, I lucked out although I didn’t know that then) so they sent us to the Fullerton location. I called and made an appointment for Monday evening. I arrived way too early and had plenty of time to look around. I was promptly greeted by Pixie (They/Them) who boasts an epically flawless style and makeup of their own (I was impressed, but hey I’m a Cis. he/him and like creative and unique) They checked me in and answered my questions. While I browsed I found an awesome furry grinch like jacket that I may return to buy, and they were helpful and encouraging in supporting such an aweful thing😁. I was unaware that Buffalo Exchange also took other things so I brought a couple vintage non clothing pieces in when Pixie introduced me to Madin (They/Them) as the manager and pro of all things shiny and vintage (Boasting a fun and unique style of their own too!!). Madin was informative and HONEST! They could have told me a price, but instead enjoyed the piece and told me due to how rare, hold on to it and take it elsewhere for valuation and information. I’d go back to the Fullerton location (further and out of my way) just because of the service and conversation…..And the green Grinch like jacketā˜ŗļø

Have a pretty good selection of clothes and shoes that fit a funky/alt type of aesthetic; a lot of it is vintage/old fashion. The store is definitely more of a curated resale shop than a thrift store. You'll see a lot of things for sale slightly below market prices but also typically second hand– not exactly the place for bargain or staple shopping. They do take clothes that you can sell, but might not take a lot of it (especially if it's "common" or otherwise "uncool"). BE has a cool atmosphere (upscale vintage meets secondhand like goodwill) but is questionably accessible. There's seating up front (for sellers waiting to sell) but none in the dressing rooms. You might be able to get around with a wheelchair/walker/etc but the space is crammed with clothing racks. (The racks are far enough apart but the actual clothes get in the way). Worth checking out for yourself.

Garbage selection, they tote themselves as like some sort of consignment boutique that only offers new or gently used second hand items that are on trend, but the amount of scuffed up, clearly worn, and horrendous looking attire I saw while I was there left me pretty disappointed. Goodwill has a better selection for a lot lower of a price. šŸ™„ The lady behind the buy counter while I was there (was there around 11-12pm today) was pretty rude as well. Very friendly and engaging to the people in front of me, very cold and unresponsive when she got to me. It felt kinda of racist and I've been seeing a lot of reviews about this woman saying the same thing so šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø

Didn't sell a damn thing either despite having items she said they were looking for, clothes that matched the Y2K trend going on rn, and clothes that were new with tags. She kinda just skimmed thru everything, So im seeing why the selection there is trash :/

On the flip side the other two employees were very nice...
