I’m so happy that Fullerton has a great premium Pho spot in the Downtown area. It was previously occupied by Cha2o and has been closed for construction for months! I was driving by one day and saw that they had a “Now Open” sign. Not really knowing what to expect other than knowing that it was a pho spot, I came in with minimal expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was very surprised with the interior and the open kitchen layout. I was told by the servers that every piece of furniture including the plates/bowls were imported from Vietnam. At the front, they even have a contactless pickup where you enter a code and the box that holds your order will open up. Their pho offerings are definitely on the premium side but I believe the pricing and value is more than fair as the portions are very generous. Their broth is fantastic, and I believe they spend 48 hours making the broth. Usually I get very thirsty after consuming a bowl of pho due to the saltiness, but it was not the case here. They’re also one of the few places here that offer an option of thin or thick noodles for their pho. I’ve been here twice so far and I’ve always had a pleasant dining experience. I definitely want to come back and try their other appetizers and pho when I get the chance.
Oh by the way, did I mention that they have cool robo servers and that they have a mouth wash station next to the restroom sinks? How thoughtful!

|| F O O D / D R I N K S || Roasted Bone Marrow ($15.00) - I originally wanted to try the Naked Eggs appetizer but I was told that they ran out for the day so I shall try it the next time. I went with the next appetizer I had in mind which was the roasted bone marrow. I’ve had a couple of bone marrow dishes at other vietnamese fusion places before and while it’s very tasty, it usually comes at a ridiculous price point. Therefore, I was honestly surprised that we got (2) large bone marrows that had a lot of fillings! For once, I actually had enough bone marrow to scrape off for all the bread slices. The provided bread is fantastic and toasted to crispy perfection. Definitely a decadent and rich appetizer before devouring your pho.
Pho Tai Wagyu ($19.00) - Feeling a bit fancy so decided to go with this option with the choice of thick noodles. You have the choice of having the meat rare, medium or well done. I went with the medium option as I don’t like it when my meat is too well done. I figured it would still cook a little while it sits in the broth. The wagyu was extremely tender and the amount of meat given was great! I was low key afraid I was only going to get a couple of pieces.
Pho Le Xua ($19.00) - If you can’t decide which meats you want, I highly recommend going with this option. I went with the choice of thin noodles. Like I mentioned, they are extremely generous with their meats and it was honestly hard to pick a favorite meat. I think I’m probably never going to deviate from this bowl. The meat off the bone slid off super easy.
Matcha Coconut ($6.00) - loved the combination of both flavors and how it wasn’t overly sweet. If you need something refreshing with a kick of caffeine, this is for you.
Herbal Tea ($4.00) - This definitely cooled me down from the summer heat. Love the cup that it comes with. It’s slightly sweetened.
Salted Lemonade Soda ($5.00) - I was intrigued by the thought of a salty lemonade so I decided to try it out. Super refreshing and light. I liked how the salty flavor didn’t overpower...

Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.
Environment/Ambiance: It was very nostalgic for me when I walked in because the ambiance gave off Vietnamese vibes. The marble tables, wooden chairs, vases, utensils, and plates were imported from Vietnam. I recognized the vases bc my grandma had the same ones lol! They also have an open kitchen concept. I love their modern take on traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Service: Everyone was amazing. Shout out to our server Ben! Constantly checked up on us and ensured we were enjoying our dinner. They even have robot service! The robot only brought us the sides that came with the pho we ordered.
Food & drinks:
Pho Tai Filet Mignon, carpaccio-style - This was my first time trying pho carpaccio-styled, and it was sooo delicious! Such a great concept. For those who don’t know what carpaccio style is - it is thinly sliced rare beef, drizzled with oil and lemon or lime. I was advised to squeeze the lime first and spray some 40° nuoc mam for extra flavor. Then take some meat and dip it into the pho broth. The meat wasn’t too chewy! I’m used to eating cooked meat with pho, but I absolutely looove this style better! 10/10
Pho Xe Lua - I was told this was one of their most popular pho bowls. They were very generous with the meats. I didn’t even need to add any sauces to the broth bc it tasted amazing the way it was. I could definitely tell their broth was brewed for at least 48 hours; it very smooth and no MSG. My favorite part was the short rib! It easily came off the bone and full of flavor. They offer unlimited noodles, so of course I took advantage! 10/10
Fish Sauce Fries - I started off with the Fish Sauce Fries as appetizers. It came with a “female” and “male” 40° nuoc mam perfume bottle. Such a fun idea! The fries were already tossed in fish sauce, but if you want more flavor, a couple spritz of the “perfume” will do. They also gave a generous amount of fries for an appetizer. 10/10
Herbal Iced Tea - So refreshing! After eating two steaming bowls of pho and nuoc mam fries, this drink really helped refresh everything. It came in a cute cup, topped with floral. 9/10
Vietnamese Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I had to try their Vietnamese coffee. This is the definition of Vietnamese coffee: extra ice, thick, concentrated, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It also came in a unique cup. 10/10
Pricing: Prices are $$$. Not as surprised since prices have gone up literally everywhere. I’d say it’s worth it because they are very generous with...
