My family and I are visiting and saw this place had good reviews so we thought we’d try it out. Food is way over priced for what you get. portion sizes are pretty small. You can go down the street to Pier 77 and get fish and chips with three times as much fish for the same exact price. Disappointed with how little food I got for $18-24. The bartender on staff was uneducated and what she was serving. I asked for a percentage on the beer I wanted to order and she told me it was 8% so I bought it. I look it up online after I drink it because it doesn’t taste strong and it was 5% so I confronted the bartender on staff Sammy about it. She got very defensive and I honestly thought she was going to come over the bar and fight me while I have my three-year-old toddler in my arms. Sammy needs to be disciplined for how she treats customers it is not OK to get offensive and aggressive at people, especially when you are in the wrong . My husband noticed how she was talking to me and we asked for a manager, but the manager was not there. The floor manager Valerie was so sweet and jumped in because she saw Sammy treating me badly and she resolved the issues within seconds, and made sure that I was OK . Sammy should be disciplined, and Valerie should be promoted. Valerie was so sweet and is great at customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure a...
Read moreVery limited menu. Small portions for the price. Pot pie was good, but a small portion. I was still hungry. Same for the shepherds pie. Both $16.95 each. And not served with anything. I asked for a slice of bread with the shepherds pie. That slice of bread cost me $3.00. Ridiculous. The menu has a section that says "Appetizers & Salads". But there are NO salads. None, except the Caesar salad with chicken on the "Pub Specialties" section for $15.50. Again, ridiculous. Why have a section that says appetizers & salads, when there are NO salads? I asked the waitstaff about a small side salad, and was told "I know it's confusing...appetizers and salads when there aren't any salads, haha" and he laughed it off. Then take the "salads" off the menu! How hard is that? Service was fair. No sense of urgency by the staff. It was Sunday around 4 pm, and not very busy. Then, for using our credit/debit card (which the funds are paid to them immediately) it cost me an additional $1.35. Overall, a fair dinner, but not sure if we will return. UPDATE ON 4-12-25 They now serve side salads with meals for $4.00!!!! AND are in process of getting a new menu! ...
Read moreBeen there twice and have not been impressed. I evaluate on Service, Food, Atmosphere, Price. They do not achieve an accteptable 3 star in any category. Close on the food, but not quite.
Lunch for two will cost you $35-$50 and will probably won't have much for the doggie bag if anything. Atmosphere is plain bar - half high top half std table. No decorations or theme so other then the name and a couple items on menu nothing to say Irish pub.
Service is slow and having seen about 12 different orders come out at least 8 of them were wrong and in several cases their fix didn't really fix the error. Example: Reuben with Sauerkraut came out with cabbage instead and no sauce. They brought a bowl of sauerkraut. But that really didn't address the Reuben cooked wrong with Cabbage and cheese sauce instead. Fish Hoagie sandwich served with warm lettuce and tomatoes and fried fish was luke warm.. Paid $2.5 for a pop and on neither visit did either waitress ever offer to refill a drink.
Saving grace fries and sweet potatoes fries are...
