INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SELL ME THE MOST EXPENSIVE ROD AND REEL, HE ASKED ABOUT MY LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE, WHERE I FISH THE MOST, WHAT I'M TRYING TO CATCH, AND VARIOUS OTHER PERTINENT QUESTIONS, WHICH ENDED UP SAVING ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. HIS RESPONSE: "I COULD TRY TO SELL YOU THE MOST EXPENSIVE PIECES OF GEAR AND TELL YOU IT'S GOING TO WORK BETTER, OR CATCH A BIGGER FISH, BUT I WOULD RATHER SELL YOU WHAT IS GOING TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS AND GIVE YOU THE MOST ENJOYABLE FISHING 🎣 EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE"... AND THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT HE DID... AND EVEN THOUGH OUR CONVERSATION EXTENDED PAST THE STORE'S POSTED CLOSING TIME, HE NEITHER RUSHED ME NOR SEEMED IMPATIENT IN ANY WAY, AND NONE OF THE OTHER EMPLOYEES SEEMED TO BE RUSHING CUSTOMERS OUT OF THE DOOR EITHER

I spent almost $1k on new equipment and clothing. One of the new Penn reels had an issue the very first day. I returned and asked them to look at it TWO days later. I was told that they did not have time and I was told that I should return it to Penn. When I pointed out that it was purchased from them two days ago I was told that it was beat up because of an extremely extremely small scratch that would obviously had nothing to do with the reeling action. I was cussed and verbally assaulted by what I assume was the owner and was once again told to return it to Penn.

I SAID I WOULD RETURN ALL ITEMS PURCHASED AND WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER "I DO NOT CARE!!!"

Absolutely no appreciation for my business or the amount of money that I had just spent. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE...

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! OVERPRICED and return policy is atrocious!!! We purchased a few rod and reel combos to fish with on the same day. Total came to about 300.00, went out later that afternoon and one snapped apart in the middle of reeling in a fish. We went back the next day with receipt in hand hoping we could get a replacement or our money back and were told by the owner that he suspected we had smashed the rod to break on purpose. They are obviously greedy and more than happy to have you pay for overpriced defective product but are not willing to shell out a refund or replacement when it goes wrong. Better bet spending your money at Wal-Mart or Academy for better merchandise!!! These people will rob...
