If I could give 0 stars, I would. I didn’t even get into the building to enjoy myself.
Last night a couple of my friends tried to go into the building. As we are checking IDs to verify you are of drinking age, one of my friends gets told that their Non-US ID cannot be accepted because only “US ID or Passport to get inside”.
I understand businesses have the right to refuse service to whoever they please, but hey… maybe the law has change?

Read moreI’m a regular at this bar, and I always tip the bartender generously. He knows me well. Tonight, two other bartenders were working. I ordered a double-shot whiskey sour, but halfway through, I noticed that the sweetness had completely disappeared, replaced by a strong bitterness. I thought they had run out of their premixed lemon juice, so I kindly pointed it out to them. I said I’d like a new drink and mentioned that they might have run out of lemon juice (because a friend of mine had encountered a similar issue before).
One of the bartenders on duty said, “A new drink is $8.” Before I could respond, he went ahead and made a new one but slammed it down in front of me. I said, “You should taste it—this is really bitter.” He replied, “You know what I’ll do if you don’t pay the $8?” … Then, right in front of me, he angrily dumped the freshly made drink into the trash!
I was stunned. I said I wanted to speak to the manager, but he claimed the manager was at another bar and couldn’t come over. I stepped outside, and after a while, the only manager on duty—a heavier-set guy—came out and said he could make me a new drink. However, it was freezing outside, and I waited for quite a while. After about six or seven minutes, I went back inside, only for the manager to tell me I couldn’t stay in the bar anymore.
He placed my drink on an outdoor table and escorted me out. Then he told the staff at the door not to let me back in. I said I needed to go back and grab my belongings, but the doorman refused to let me in.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone come to this bar. The bartenders are rude, and even the manager is blatantly racist. Out-of-town guests should be especially cautious—they really...
Read moreNo one is wearing uniforms to specify first and foremost. We were waiting in line during Halloween weekend and went to check out the second entrance cause we needed to use the restroom. When walking to the second entrance we passed the exit. A gentleman let us in the exit, told us to use the restroom and leave, we assumed it was security. Someone else approached me after I entered, he was dressed in normal clothes and I absolutely couldn't hear him in all the music. I had been approached by a few "cat callers " so I didn't think anything of it. While my friend was using the restroom a lady approached us (also in unidentifiable clothing) and told us to leave. We apologize, explained the situation and promised to leave as soon as she finished. She was literally mid-bathroom. The lady left and while walking out we saw the people that approached us and announced we were leaving and thanked them for the restroom. We then entered the line as appropriate civilians and waited our turn to enter. When we reached the front, we were told we caused a disturbance and needed to leave. We tried to apologize and explain the situation and was told we should have just peed in the streets, they didn't care, we were waisting their time and needed to leave No one has on a uniform, we were given access, used the restroom and left to wait our turn. Totally dehumanizing. To be encouraged to pee in the streets vs having access to plumbing. The Security staff to disgraceful. Will never go back. Very sad after hearing so many...
