⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CHR Steak is absolutely incredible! I knew it was going to be a five-star dining experience before I even got there — I’d already heard so many amazing things in the few days it’s been open — but wow, it still blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was elegant and romantic — soft lighting, smooth jazz playing, and even the aged meat on display with tags showing how many days each had been aged. Such a classy touch! We ordered the filet, and it literally melted in our mouths — no steak sauce needed (though they did bring some on the side). The lobster mac and cheese was so good I actually took home what I couldn’t finish and ate it cold for breakfast the next morning — no shame, it was that good! The mashed potatoes were hands down the best I’ve ever had — creamy, buttery, and topped with crispy fried onions. But surprisingly, my favorite dish might have been the street-style corn. I don’t even like corn, but my boyfriend ordered it, and once I had a bite, I ended up eating all of his! 😂 And let’s talk about the cocktails — bar manager Nikki has handcrafted the most incredible drinks. I had one made with Empress 1908 gin, lavender simple syrup, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, fresh lemon juice, and egg white, garnished with a lavender sprig and gold flake. Absolutely beautiful and delicious! Then manager Derick (such a pleasure to talk to!) brought me one of his favorites — an eggnog martini Nikki created that tasted just like an iced chai latte from Starbucks. This is officially my new favorite spot in Gainesville. If I could give 10 stars, I would! 🌟

First time to dine at this magical place. Our dining coordinator, Andrew, was so patient with us as he walked us through the menu and was so prompt and polite. The ambiance is an experience in and of itself that must be enjoyed! The dinner was also exquisite from first bite to last nite, and I definitely recommend the creme brulee!

My wife and I shared a birthday dinner here tonight and the experience was beyond anything we expected. First, the service was spectacular, nothing was ever needed and we were never over burdened with constant, “how’s your meal.” Friendly, yet professional, the entire service staff seemed focused on making patron’s time special.

Then there’s the food. From the Tenderloin Carpaccio to the cowboy cut rib-eye, everything was prepared and cooked perfectly. My wife’s filet could be cut with a fork, the carpaccio was like butter, and my ribeye was both tender and perfectly seasoned with just the right char on the outside.

Our only regret is we did not save room for dessert. The couple next to us got a piece of chocolate mouse cake and just the view of it was enough. Next time, we’ll start with dessert.

We will be back and we highly recommend a visit to CHR, you will not be...

Top notch food and service. Excellently crafted and tasteful recipes, knowledgeable staff, extensive wine menu. This is what Gainesville has been needing for a long time! Impress your date, impress your friends/colleagues/business associates, or just go to get your taste buds tantalized on a proper dry-aged steak by yourself at the lively bar! It also has a vibing atmosphere, so you will feel chíc just walking in there! Went there last week and was not disappointed, my steak was cooked to perfection. I've always been skeptical of someone else cooking my steak, but at this restaurant, they outperformed the other steakhouses I've been to in and around North Atlanta. It tasted great and was cooked exactly as I wished for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't...
