My family and I ordered a family for 8 this evening. As I ordered I was informed, in extremely rude manner, that the location that I was at did not serve biscuits and the family meal nor does it come with the 2 one half gallon gallon drinks as advertised ALL OVER THE BUILDING!!!
My husband had raved about how wonderful the food was from here when he had it previously, but this time we both agreed that it was a waste of $50. The chicken was extremely bland and so greasy that if it had been near an open flame it would have burned for days. The same with the fries. The corn on the cob was just mush on the cob. The only half way decent thing was the mashed potatoes.
This is the first time I have ever felt the need to get online and post a bad review concerning anything, it was that bad. I mean how are you supposed to split 2 ears of corn between 8 people? The math does not work out. I had to purchase extra sides, because apparently when you order for a family of 8 meal, you only mean 2 and you rip off the consumer.
Have you ever heard the phrase that for every happy customer you gain only one more, but for every unhappy customer you lose ten? Well, I'm not happy. As a matter of fact I am disgusted that I wasted all of that money on something that was supposed to be a treat for my family, but turned out to be a large and expensive...
Read moreWe Just got a bucket of fried chicken from this churches and I’m really searching for some good points to note on because I really hate to leave a bad review. The drive-through was extremely fast — which was a nice point. unfortunately the chicken we received was not what either of us have come to expect from past experience with churches. I’ve had quite good experiences with them in the past, but on this particular day, they have definitely dropped the ball. The chicken breading was extremely dry and tough as was the chicken inside. The meat had separated from the breading and appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for quite sometime. I must say I appreciate the good deal that was charged, but I would rather have had good chicken and I can’t say that that happened today. Even though it was really bad, I won’t say that I will not try them again, but if there were to be a repeat, I would have to say I will have to find another place to get fried chicken. I hope this was an...
Read moreWent to Orlando looking for Church’s chicken on W Central Ave, they were closed so I searched for “ another Church’s chicken and came upon this further in. The place is not easy to find, because it’s near gas station with side entry. As soon as I found it snd entered I realized it was not the original Churches Chicken that I was looking for, but wanted Church’s chicken . So we entered, no greeting, asked if they were part of Church Chicken in OBT or 17/92 in Sanford, Fl, cashier had no clue, the environment felt cold and a male who was assumed to be the manager, never greeted, never answered about other locations and the service or food was not of the standard of the one on OBT, I first went to Church’s Chicken in 1974. So I believe my review is pretty accurate Updated, It’s believed that Church’s chicken became Church’s Texas Chicken, so this week while in Orlando went to the Original in OBT and it was opened again I was so eager to have...
