Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Gainesville

Call for a delivery. Guy took my order, asked if I'd like the small salad with my sub and said it would take 45 min to an hour to receive my order. I told the person taking my order I lived in a Park and step by step directions. Guy repeated my orders and directions and the place I lived. About and hour later, driver calls me to ask for directions, and after I told him how to get here, tells me he would call me back. Driver seem aboligectic. My mother had to go to main road to meet him as he was having problems finding my place. Directions were stated numerous times. When signing for my ticket, which I didn't get my receipt, States that the store gave him wrong address. So when I called store back to complain my order was not only cold, it was incomplete. Manager yelled at me to tell me to stop raising my voice after repeating myself to him numerous times, hollers and States " He was tired of Everyone calling tonight complaining and bitching at him. Well my thougts Keith, night time manager, if you talk to a customer the way you was speaking to me, you deserve getting spoke too like you are speaking to a customer trying to state their unhappy with their services and don't need you to say what you THINK has happened without hearing the customer first!! I will never order from this store ever again and will make sure I spread the word!! Also will be calling corporate office!! This is the second time I've had issues with this store. Horrible service. Every time I order pizza here I have a problem. First, they put no cheese on my CHEESE pizza. Last week, I called and placed an order for delivery on my way home from work. The driver beat me home and wouldn't take my payment over the phone. I asked if I could call the restaurant and pay over the phone like you normally would for a delivery and they told me no. She took the pizza with her, wouldnt take my payment and when I got home I still had to get pizza for pizza Friday. Went to dominos. Last night I tried one last time. Called for a pick up so my mom could stop by after picking up the kids and bring it with her. They said I can't pay over the phone for a pick up, even if someone else is picking up. Asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold. When the employee got back on the phone he said "my manager said he doesn't have time to talk to you". I guess they don't realize they are in the customer service industry. Three bad experiences in a row. No sir. I work hard for my money, and will be finding a new place for...

I am a very pleased customer!! I always have wonderful experiences with Hungry Howie's (HH). When we lived closer in the city, we always chose HH. Now that we live out a bit, HH delivers everything we need in record time. The staff are courteous and always knowledgeable of the specials and economy buys!

A family of six can never go wrong ordering from HH. We certainly encourage anyone to order their pizza, Howie Bread, pasta,straight-from-Italy marinara sauce, and every other delicious combination. Take it from me, we order biweekly and will as long as the grades are good, the yard is cleaned, and the belly is growling!! Hungry Howie's is great!
