My wife and I ordered a chair for our son's nursery and was ensured by our sales representative, Chase, that it would be in before we left for our vacation. When the day of supposed arrival came and we never heard from the delivery people, I called and was told by the manager that no delivery date was ever set and our chair was still at the warehouse in Melbourne. Once we were finally able to get a delivery date, we had to reschedule it due to a tight delivery window that was not possible and that was our fault. However, once we decided we no longer wanted the chair and would just pick one up from a local store here, we were told that they could not refund us and our only option was to proceed with the delivery. This was apparently due to us having to reschedule the devilry after they broke their promise on our original delivery date. Now after a month and a failed promise, I am unable to refund and found out that many local stores, such as Walker, stock Lazy-boys at a severely lower price and this store functions as a middle man at inflated prices. If you want a custom Lazy-boy, I can understand going through here, just make sure you confirm with the warehouse for a delivery date and do not trust the sales people. We were very impressed with our salesman, Tom. He was very low-key, never tried to pressure us or make a sale. He just gave us information and options. We must have tried almost every chair, chair-and-a-half and loveseat recliner in the place. They have a wide selection and so many great options to choose from. After a couple of hours, we found the perfect loveseat and were able to get a fabulous discount because of the sale. We hadn't actually been planning to buy on the first trip there, but we are so happy we found exactly what we wanted. The Salesman was polite, knowledgeable, and personal. We had a family emergency and needed a “lift” recliner. Not only did La-Z-Boy have the one perfect recliner, but the salesman went out of his way to try and get the delivery for the next day. Of which he accomplished due to our circumstances.
