Starbucks (Licensed) @ Union Street — Restaurant in Gainesville

I always go to this Starbucks because it’s close to work. I also ALWAYS tip.

My problems are:

1. One of the girls can not do math ( I guess I confused her with cash) I paid $4.50 over the amount…… I just left it as tip.

2. They close at 8pm but stop serving at 7:40?!? They can’t lock the doors at 8pm and then start cleaning/ putting things away?

3. They always mention the tip ( it’s self explained) but, I don’t think they all deserve one. Kinda rude!!!

I go to Starbucks almost every day, all over the country, and this one….. I always have problems at……

You spelled my name WRONG! Also, I just want you to encourage your employees to ‘ Thank People’ when they get tipped instead of mentioning one! (Has happened multiple times now and why I will no longer tip-this Starbucks)

I guess you didn’t talk to your employees! I just left a $3 tip and NOT one person said Thank you. It was not busy and they didn’t even tell me when my drink was...

As a gold member or a gold card carrier I get free unlimited hot coffee of the day it's free unlimited Ice-T and I think now they include free unlimited iced coffee but I'm not sure about that they didn't used to it but I thought I heard that they'd added that recently very well it's not free I mean if it's a tall Grande venti or the next size up that you just pay for one cop and then they just keep refilling it and you are not charged. The best way of doing business with Starbucks just put money on your Starbucks card and you do everything through the card and then you get a lots of extra perks and bonuses and discounts and extra espresso shots and extra things that you don't normally get if you just baby your coffee in other ways. I'm sure many people already know this but if you don't that just get a card and put 20 or $50 on it and use that card exclusively in before long you'll have all kinds of benefits of things that will make your coffee...

Update: Asked the one of the staff for a rag to clean the dirty tables. She told us she was the only person and caught an attitude. No one was asking her to clean anything. I just asked her for a rag. Smh. This is the third time i was mistreated by this same lady. #👎

So..I am adding since I can do another review. It would seem since my review 9 months something would have changed however. It seems every new staff change or new member brings even worst customer service. I came in june 23 at 9:11 am, the rude and unwelcoming bartista was waiting for me to greet her before she gave me a hello that she could barely open her mouth to say. I am over the racist, facist, unwelcoming behavior of the people at this downtown Starbucks. They need a serious change of training because I am beginning to believe that Starbucks trains the staff...
