I went to your University of Florida Marston Science Library location this morning and received the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I went there a few days ago and the barista that made my drink forgot to add milk and I politely asked for her to remake it and she very snarkily said she was very busy and asked what I wanted from her. She said "I'll remake it I guess", then rolled her eyes, but I told her she can just give me a side of milk in a cup if that is easier for her. She then just handed me the milk and did not say a word. I went back today nervous to have her making my drink again, I ordered a grande iced espresso and received a hot grande espresso and informed her I ordered it iced. She then said "Well it didn't say iced on the order, so..?" I then told her I verbally told the cashier I would like it cold. Then she said "Ok?? Do you want me to remake it?" in a very rude tone. I said yes then she remade it as a tall size. I then told her it was grande then she proceeded to tell me what I ordered only comes in tall and if I wanted a grande I should have ordered something else (even though my friend ordered the exact same thing and had no issues). She was EXTREMELY rude and was trying to argue with me for no reason. This whole interaction was UNPROVOKED. Read moreI came in twice since this semester started, once at about 11:30 am on a Wednesday, and again at 6:40 on a Sunday night. The first time my drink took 40 minutes to come out, which was fine because it was a busy time. Today, Sunday, I ordered at 6:45 pm and waited until 7:10 before asking about my drink. the barista said he would get to it. There were about 2 other people in the store at the time, and several more cycled through grabbing mobile orders and ordering at the counter and receiving their drinks. i waited 10 more minutes and no dice, so i asked again. he commented someone must be stealing drinks and finally made it for me in about 2 seconds. i know for a fact that no one was stealing drinks because i stood there the entire time listening and waiting for my drink. i think they must be losing tickets or messing up the order of orders they've received in some other way? either way, i'm pretty peeved to have waited 40 minutes for a drink when it was extremely slow for the majority of the time...
Read moreEvery time my friends and I step foot into this Starbucks, it is an awful experience. We keep coming back since we always study at Marston and this Starbucks is the only nearby food place open late. Like clockwork, every.single.time.we.go our order is messed up, they are out of food, no one speaks English, and on top of that, everyone is rude. It seems like every worker does not want to be there and treats every customer with insane attitude. It is very unpleasant to deal with this as, we just want a simple treat, after being stressed about school, and we always have to deal with attitude, no one understanding English, and we paying insane prices for the completely wrong order.
