Been meaning to go for some time, finally got to go today. Quaint little train themed coffee and sandwich place run by a couple of Korean ladies. The shop is inside the Gaithersburg MARC station on the street side. Seating is on the opposite side in the waiting/ticketing area. Restrooms are in between.
Tried the tuna sandwich, which was nice and satisfying. I also tried the coffee and cheese danish. Pretty good portion and decently tasty. Came wrapped in clear plastic, but what do you expect for a small mom & pop place inside an old train station... I did feel the place needed additional security, since there was a group of teenagers sitting around doing nothing (they finally did order food, but what were they doing in the middle of the day on a school day?). Otherwise, I think the place is a nice quiet place for a working lunch, as there was a lady with a laptop working away.
When there, be sure to check out the outdoor train displays and the museum if it's open. The Brunswick Line runs on a busy CSX subdivision with Amtrak, so you're likely to see a train come...

The lady looked at me like I was crazy even though she confirmed they have oat milk. When she gave me my coffee there was chocolate all around the cup....why?? I never asked for chocolate. I was running on 2 hours of sleep and didn't even bother saying anything because I saw how dismissive she was to the previous 2 guests when they asked her a question. I left and tried a sip and it tasted like chocolate milk, DAIRY chocolate milk at that. So I left it in my cup holder and 30 mins into my drive later I look down to see an ant floating in the drink, and stuff in the ice as it's melting. Which leads me to believe items are not stored correctly, and the ice machine has not be cleaned in who knows how long. Absolutely disgusting, not to mention an allergy issue. This is...

I know this can’t even compare but I had just gotten a hot chai from Panera the other day and even when I asked for ‘less sweet,’ it tasted so sweet and off. But drinking Java Junction’s chaispresso made up for that experience/wasted money by 10-fold!
I also adore how it’s in a charming, old structure in Old Towne Gaithersburg next to the MARC train tracks & outdoor locomotives on display. The train sounds made me nervous bc they’re so close but visually appealing & lovely nonetheless (and that’s not the business’s...
