Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Galesburg

Went in last night for a quick bite and the lady running the cash register had the worst attitude from the moment we walked in. We needed a moment to look at the menu and she stood behind the register sighing and looking incredibly annoyed. Then as she turns to walk back to the food prep area she hollers at us that if "we ever figure out what we want" she'll come back to the register because she has other orders to make. Then proceeds to walk over to lean on the counter and talk to the delivery driver. Then we got our food we asked for a few more napkins and she coped an attitude and snapped back "If you would have looked in your bag I already gave you napkins" and started to walk away. Mind u our food was clearly laid out at the table bag had been emptied and she gave 1 napkin for 2 people. If Andrea is working the cash register in the future i will turn around and go to subway they are...

Im a bit of a sub snob. I had jimmie johns delivering to me years ago i wasnt happy with there subs. So Im here in Mt Vernon ill and thought what the hell. I ordered there roast beef sub and there potato salad. First the breads a huge part of a sub. As for chain places they have the best sub rolls but sadly dont offer whole wheat sub rolls. Second there meat taste exactly like Subways. . As for meat as a chain no one beats Jersey Mikes. The people here were very nice,but I dont pay for kindness I wouldnt ever buy there potato salad again its a very small quanity and really not to my liking. I would say if it wasnt for the bread whjch was awesome I would there bo better then subway... and this whole they wont put salt or pepper on the subs astounds me... there subs are suppose to be 14 inches but i did notice there...

The staff at this Jimmy John’s are absolutely incredible. Everyone is super friendly, laid-back, and they’ve got a great sense of humor that makes the whole experience enjoyable. The energy here is just chill and welcoming.✨

The food? Always top-notch. The meats are packed with flavor, and the bread is consistently fresh and delicious—whether you get your sandwich toasted or not, you really can’t go wrong.

The place itself is spotless and has a relaxing vibe, making it perfect even for dining in. Big shoutout to a young man named Anthony who was especially courteous and attentive with my last order—really appreciated that.
