McDonald's — Restaurant in Galesburg

Had a really bad experience at this McDonald’s I live 20 minutes away and I decided that I was gonna get my kids something to eat for supper cause I didn’t wanna cook. I waited 30 minutes for curbside when I finally got my food. I didn’t check it like I probably should have and I got all the way home in 20 minutes away mind you and I was missing a whole happy meal I called them the manager that I spoke with just told me to come in within 24 hours. I can fix it and then she tried hanging up on me and I wasn’t thoroughly impressed about it so I get there and I go through the drive-through cause I wasn’t gonna get my kids out in 24° weather go through the drive-through. The guy at the drive-through window told me to pull to the third window and they would help me take care of it so I did And then I decided the manager that I first spoke to which was actually nice. She told me that there was nothing she could do that would make this right so she was just gonna give me a refund for my order and she apologized about her trouble so she took my receipt and handled it Then another manager came out with the receipt and said that in order for me to get my refund they had to have the food which mind you is a health violation cause it left the store. It left the property, but that’s either here or there. I gave her the food that I didn’t care. Everything was cold anyway so I gave her the food and the next thing I know She’s arguing with me and getting snotty with me in front of my three kids which I thought was very unprofessional that she tried muting something underneath her breath as she walked away now me being very confrontational about everything. I told her if she has something to say she doesn’t have to walk away to say it so I told her I’d rather her say it to my face, and then she told me that the curbside was all always gonna be cold if I ordered curbside, which has never been the case so then she walked away, and I’m already mad at this point she comes back and apologizes to my kids because apparently I was wrong so me being very angry already went into Momma bear mode and basically defended me and my kids and told her that if she had something to say she could say it to me not bring my kids into this And then she tried bringing up all this personal stuff because I knew her outside of McDonald’s and decided to bring personal stuff and where it didn’t belong and then she slammed the door in my face not very happy with this. I’m handling it as I see fit at first I wasn’t going to name names but I think I will Now The manager‘s...

I am so disappointed in this McDonald’s. I come here a lot at night, it’s open late -when I’m off work. Again, tonight my order was wrong. The last three times I’ve ordered late night the order has been wrong in some way. I have gotten warm fries. McDonald’s fries are the best when they are served hot. Don’t go late night thinking you will get hot fries- 90% of the time you won’t. Anyway, tonight again I went, ordered two McDoubles - no pickles. That means I wanted mustard, ketchup and onion *actually ordered extra onion. I got them with no pickle, no onion and no mustard. They had ketchup only. But, as usual- the sticker they put on the wrapper was right - no pickles, extra onion How is this even possible? And to happen once in a while - is excusable. But, like 3 out of 5 times! Is totally unacceptable! I got home looked at the food, and decided enough is enough! I looked up the number, called at 1:01am. One minute after they closed. They didn’t answer the phone. There was no voicemail to leave a message. Come on, one minute after your close all employees are gone? Impossible! So anyway the rest of the order was messed up also. The ordered the num 7 (The two cheeseburger meal) plain burgers - they are treats for my dogs. Their cheeseburgers had ketchup on them -nothing else - so they almost got the dog’s burgers right. I wiped off the ketchup and the dog’s were none the wiser. But, just cannot believe this kind of thing happens this often. I am so utterly disappointed in my local McDonald’s.

OMG!!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS ON LATE NIGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! As some of you know I had a very bad experience at the McDonald's on Henderson Street about a month ago. After that experience one of the Mangers " George" contacted me and assured me everything would be taken care of. Been back since then with no problems until tonight. Used the app for the 1st time, placed our order, paid for our order, drove up to second window waited for our food. We wait about 5 minutes and this teenage girl who refused to give her name tells me they refuse to serve me because of my last bad review and that they can't seem to please us and refunded our money. If they hadn't served me raw meet and poor customer service from my last review it wouldn't have been negative so here we are again refused service and negative attitude from the teens they have working night shift without adult supervision. Apparently 2 McDoubbles with no pickle, (2) 4pcs nuggets, 2 small fries and 2 large drinks was too big of an order for them to fill tonight. This place needs alot of HELP on the night shift.
