Los Cantaritos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Gallatin

We walked in and were greeted immediately but that was the only time service was at all timely. We ordered our drinks, but the server walked away before we could ask for anything else. When he did take our orders, both of them came out incorrect. My partner ordered enchiladas with no salad. They gave her salad anyways. I ordered grilled chicken quesadillas, but they brought me steak. The server was gone for 20 minutes so I couldn't even ask to send it back until he returned. When he did take it, it was gone for another good bit before he brought me quesadillas with no cheese and lukewarm chicken. The tortillas were not at all crisp on the outside. When we were ready to go and got our to-go boxes in order, we waited 30 minutes or more for our ticket. We got our ticket and went to the front to pay, where a different employee ran our card and left before we even got to sign the receipt. We have visited this restaurant 4 times this month and have described it as having the best Mexican food of any restaurant in town. We have eaten Combo #7 (Enchilada, Chili Relleno, Rice and Beans), Burrito California, Cazuelon, a Loaded Pineapple, and Alambre They were all, without exception, the best tasting servings we have ever had. If you're looking for Mexican food, we wholeheartedly recommend Los Cantaritos. P.S. Google keeps getting this location wrong. If you visit, Google thinks you're next door. If you get directions, Google will get you there, but if you visit, Google won't place you there. Enjoy...

The food was great and well priced, the staff were really friendly. My only complaint, it may be restaurant policy to have the outside area doors open when there are guests that choose to be seated outside. During my visit, my family and I were placed at a table close to the door to their outside area, and some customers came and requested outside seating. It was 12°f and the door was propped open and made the last half of dinner quite cold. So if it's a cold day avoid the tables close to the doors if at all possible, it can make for a very chilly...
