Although this was a difficult place to find, it was worth the drive. With that being said, I can see why some will disagree. We were actually done "with our visit" in about 5 minutes! This IS a SMALL market -- 10 to 15 "farmers"? These are my highlights: we hope to find "pink girl" Tomatoes. Mission accomplished ... kinda. We bought the plant, as it's too early in the season for actual "home grown" tomatoes. there was a vendor selling various flowers. She has an awesome rose with a beautiful aroma! I bought the same bush several years ago so I'm not really sure WHY she's there? Maybe she grows and sells some other unique plants? another vendor sold the most aromatic soaps I've smelled. $12 a bar (3" x 3" square?)
I don't know ... I do believe it's a good thing, supporting the local farmers. Not all of the "farmers" there were local, in my opinion. Do people around here grow Coffee beans? Or do people grow candles? They say they're "beeswax candles" ... but are they really bee keepers?
Finally, to the Vendor selling fish/ seafood/ other meats, "way to go, blocking a handicap spot! ♿ We 'physically challenged' people really...
