Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Galveston

Writing from the joint account I share with my husband. Today at approx 16:15 my husband and our two kids came in to get some ice cream as we’re on vacation and it’s a pregnancy craving of mine. Well when we came in the workers in the store didn’t even tell us where the line started as it was confusing as it seemed busy and people were standing all over the store making the line look non-existent, the fat blonde white girl wearing the green shirt thought it’d be ok to rudely embarrass me by telling me in a very nasty tone where the line started. There are other ways to address things to people other than catching an attitude with me when she has the build of Optimus Prime and the face card of miss piggy. That was out of pocket. If you hate your job then quit. It’s not my fault you cannot manage your store and have customers forming a single line when we first entered in. Confusion happens doesn’t mean you have a right when you make minimum wage to catch a ‘tude. Completely Unacceptable. Another thing I don’t like nor understand how a large cup is 8$ when the quantity is less(basically one scoop of ice cream) than buying the small pint. 30$ for small quantities of ice cream with rude service. Yikes. Save your money and go to Walmart at least you can get a pint of Ben and Jerry’s for $5 instead of paying $8 for basically one scoop in a silly cup and get met by a torta with a...

Today after dinner at Pit BBQ. We decided to take a walk on the beach. Once we were done with our walk we decided to go to one of our favorite spots when we're in Galveston Texas. We decided to go to Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Ben & Jerry's is my favorite ice cream place to go for ice cream. Its located on the Seawall so it's very easy to find and the customer service is awesome. The selections of ice cream flavors that they have are incredible. There are so many good flavors that I can't decide which one I'm going to get. My only disappointment today was they did not have any cookies and cream ice cream. That is my most favorite ice cream in the world. The lady at the counter apologize and she actually made suggestions as far as what her favorite ice creams flavors were. I decided to get Chunky Monkey which was absolutely delicious. My husband decided to try Milk and Cookies. It sounds weird but it was delicious. Just came here today to pick up a birthday cake for my girlfriend's birthday I ordered four days ago. Oh wait, they don't have cakes here! So why do you guys have it on the website? Take it off or update your website stating "TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE!" As I got there, I was told "Our manager tried contacting you." Hmmm... did you call the right phone number? They also had my email if all else failed, but really? You went with that excuse for your employees to throw at me? Traits of a horrible leader is leaving your subordinates to take the fall for you while you run and hide. First off, I never received a phone call and secondly, if you guys did call, why isn't there a voicemail? I've been to Ben & Jerry's multiple times with a great experience, but this location messed it up for me. Whoever the manager that says he attempted to contact me, whatever that means, needs to be trained to do his job or fired!
