Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Garden Grove

There's a lot of pizza choices these days but Round Table is one of those companies it's been around for a very long time. Yes there are cheaper places to buy pizza but if you try one of their pizzas you understand why they may be double in price. Every time I buy a pizza there all the ingredients are fresh they don't taste like your Little Caesars or any other cheaper pizza places out there. With the day and age that we live in and the cost of running a business and using good quality ingredients that are fresh this is the day and age that we are in now so you're going to pay the price. I don't mind paying extra every time I buy a large pizza there all the toppings are fresh and it really brings flavor to the pizza. Every time I bite into their Pizza I can taste every flavor of each topping and that's the way it should be. So if you want a flavorful Pizza this is the place to come. So don't complain about pricing you get what you pay for these days and if you want a good quality pizza with flavor this is the place to come. UPDATE 8/3/2025 MADE IT BACK TO ROUND TABLE IN GARDEN GROVE AND ORDERED A EXTRA LARGE VEGETARIAN ALONG WITH SOME SPICY CHICKEN WINGS. GOT THE PIZZA HOME EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT WITH THE PIZZA AND THE WINGS WERE ACTUALLY NICE AND HOT AND TO THE SPICE LEVEL THAT I LIKE. STILL GOING TO GIVE THIS PLACE A FIVE-STAR BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. WHAT MAKES A GOOD PIZZA IS FLAVOR. IF YOU CANNOT TASTE EACH INDIVIDUAL TOPPING AS YOU BITE INTO THE PIZZA THEN THE TOPPINGS ARE NOT FRESH IN MY OPINION. THAT'S THE REASON I WENT BACK THERE TODAY. YES THE PIZZA HERE IS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT IF YOU WANT A FLAVORFUL PIZZA THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT IN THIS DAY AND AGE. THERE ARE CHEAPER PLACES AROUND AND YOU PROBABLY COULD GET AN EXTRA LARGE PIZZA FOR HALF THE PRICE BUT MOST LIKELY THE TOPPINGS ARE NOT GOING TO BE FRESH AND THEY'RE GOING TO BE PRE-PACKAGED. SO MY UPDATE AND FIVE STAR REVIEW STILL STAYS...

Never again am I coming back to this Round Table location. I have been a customer for nearly 15 years. Ownership has changed 3 times I believe during this time period. I placed an online order for pickup at 11:09 am with pickup time for 11:30 am. I was order #1. I arrived at 11:40 am and my order wasn't ready. In fact it wasn't even started!. The excuse I got was they open at 11 o'clock. A customer came in after me to pick up his 3 large pizzas and his was ready. I ordered 1 XL pizza and a side of potato wedges. My pizza was placed in the oven 2 minutes after I arrived. I was watching other smaller ( large pizzas) going in before mine. At 11:50 am I saw my potatoes being put in the oven. I didn't get my order until 11:56 am. This is ridiculous that they don't prepare the orders in numerical order or have them ready at the time promised. Even worse that they didn't start it until 33 minutes past the time ordered! The pizza I ordered was regular crust. What I received was thin crust! I'm very upset not to mention very mad! If you place an order online don't count on it for the time promised or even correct. I ordered online to get in and out quickly, but this didn't happen because of the terrible service....

If I had the option to give a negative 5 star I would. Whoever responded from this branch is very rude and has no knowledge of customer service. This guy has the worst attitude and I hope the HQ educates this guy. I never in my life had someone hang up on me, especially from a Round Table employee.

I asked to send me a refund invoice to my email because the pizza that I ordered online was supposed to be delivered by 5:30 PM. At 5:30, I called this branch and said they'd arrive in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I called them for an ETA and their new ETA changes to 30 more min for being "busy". That's when I told them that I'd like to cancel and get refund. Whoever was on the phone apologized and stated a refund will be processed. 15 minutes later I get a call from the delivery man saying that he's "almost" here. This tells me that they did not communicate to each other and the refund was not processed. I called back this branch and asked for a refund. Only heard excuses that they are too busy and no apologies. In the midst of asking for a refund the guy hangs up on me.
