I struggled posting this because it happened yesterday morning but I can't shake the look and possible feelings I saw on that poor girls face. Friday morning I watched the manager scold her employee over how she bagged a customers order. I watched this kid tear up in embarrassment and shame as she was belittled by her manager...in the front lobby...in front of the whole place. I felt so bad for the kid and told her to relax and just take a few breaths...I assured her she didn't actually do anything wrong and that everything was going to be okay. I can't believe this woman(the a.m. manager) would talk to her employees that way in public. It was way over the top and in front of us customers, soooo unprofessional! I asked the managers name and the name of the owner. I hope Ryan knows how his employee Renee is towards his employees and I hope he has a good talk with Renee about respect, professionalism and basic kindness. It looked like that poor girl was going to start crying, walk out or something. Makes me wanna stop supporting that establishment....I hope this stops immediately! Shame...
Read moreHi :) I just stopped in there with my mother for a breakfast bagel sandwich and an island refresher. I’ve been here many times but it’s been a few months now. I think they have great food. Anyways, Bayley was the one taking our order. I’m gonna be honest me and my mom both suck at reading menus due to our not perfect vision. We made a mistake reading the menu and he was very rude about it. And this is his behavior each time he takes my order when I’m here. After we payed, I gave him 0 tip on the tablet, because that was awful customer service and he saw. But since my mom was paying she gave him a 20% tip. He made my island refresher very icy and chunky. I work at a coffee & beverage shop so I know how to make smoothies chunky and how to not make them chunky. It had no flavor too and was lacking the same color as the other island refreshers I’ve gotten. All other people here are so kind and the food & smoothies are amazing. Read moreWanted to try this place and placed an online order for pick up. The people working at this location are really unfriendly and unprofessional. Also maybe not too smart? I placed an online order and they seemed to not even know how that process worked. When it became clear that it was messed up they took no responsibility and essentially said it's a corporate website and if the website messed up there's nothing they can do and if I end up getting charged $40 twice, it's not their problem, it's mine. A few days later my husband decided to give them a shot and placed an in-person order. He experienced the same unfriendly and unprofessional employees. Except for a young girl about 10 yrs old who was helping out behind the bagel counter - she was the only person who had any customer service skills. She was polite, efficient and even told him to have a nice day. Everyone else was noticeably surly and rude. Maybe the ten year old can give the others some training?
