Love the drinks here usually but lately its disorganized. Multiple times orders have been wrong no one seems to be paying attention to what they're making but more to the conversation they are having (probably why so many drinks come out wrong). The amount of times ive ordered a fizz and get a freeze instead? And the freezes barely have any added flavor its just crushed ice with a food coloring added. The people taking orders are either the sweetest and most helpful people or the most disorganized uninterested people. I see a difference between the women and men. The women are helpful and kind while taking orders while the men consistently are not paying attention and either getting a phone number for rewards wrong and not caring to change it or saying what youre ordering is not the thing you want just because you add a flavor to an existing recipe or are having full conversations with people who they finished taking the order of as a long line accumulates behind them. Ive seen one guy sit down in the grass to continue a conversation with a customer instead of helping his very obviously frazled coworkers working now not one line but two since he decided to sit in the grass. Forget about asking for a slight change to a drink either. Despite 7 brews whole thing being customization the minute it is a drink with one extra flavor or swapped one flavor for another they shut their brains off and same with asking for light ice. Music as well so extremely loud at times you cant hear the people or cant hear yourself think. Go to the one by best buy they are extremely more organized than this one. This is not just a one time this one time thing this is an accumulation of over half a year...
Read moreMy husband and I treated ourselves to 7 Brew two weekends in a row. Last Sunday was our first time. The girl was very knowledgeable and friendly, but it was super awkward to sit there and feel like we had to talk to her while waiting for our drinks. Usually, the whole point of a drive-thru is to limit social interaction.
This Sunday, we pulled up and were waiting in line. The music was loud so I had my husband roll the window down to see what was going on. System of a Down was BLASTING. A worker was screaming the lyrics, which was kinda funny, but still an odd choice. They changed the song and we pulled up to place our order. The music was even louder up there. She had to ask us to repeat ourselves several times because she couldn't hear us over the music. I don't want to sound like an old fuddy-duddy, but it was overall annoying. Last week my husband got a Brunette with breve, but this week the girl said that the "mocha mix" already had milk in it so we didn't need breve...?... Then I ordered a German Chocolate drink sugar-free, but is the mocha mix sugar-free too? I'd like more transparency with the nutrition info, because the drinks are HUGE and have a ton of calories and carbs, I am sure!
Not sure how well this is going to work, especially with Biggby next door and the weird set up. They will definitely need a normal...
Read moreLove 7 Brew/Traverse City but after yesterday's experience, prolly will be pretty hard to return. They wanted to upcharge me $3 on a $5 iced drink ($8 total) cuz I ordered one w/o ice, same Small size though. Starbucks got hit with a Class Action suit for screwing customers by adding massive amounts of ice to "Venti" drinks with same "Tall" quantity drink products. To think I'd fall for an almost 60% upcharge cuz I didn't want ice is ridiculous....poor form Seven Brew, it was fun supporting your roll-out, not going forward. UPDATE...I b!tched to Corporate and after several communications back & forth, it may be that the inexperienced employee may have entered a size different than what I ordered, which with the legit $1 upcharge for "no-ice", would have been $8.75. More product, less ice does warrant an upcharge. Lite Ice does not have an upcharge according to...
