If I could give 0 stars I would. I was there on Friday, 3/8. I ordered my food around 6:30 PM. I sat and waited an hour and a half! Yes you read right. The waiter asked me three times what I ordered so I knew something wasnāt right but I still kept thinking they were just busy and were working on my order. I finally went over to counter to politely let them know that Iāve been waiting for nearly an hour before asking what was going on with my order. Iām not sure if the older gentleman is the manager or owner but he was trying to ring me up so I tried to politely let him know that I already paid, and he just rudely cut me off and said wait let me finish. The waiter then told him I already paid. So after realizing how long I was waiting he offered to give me a refund which I thought was really fair. He asked for my phone number and told me that he would call me back later that night to discuss what happened. Not only did I not ever receive a phone call but I waited until finally today, 3/12 to post my review and still have not heard back from him. My husband and I tried calling multiple times and no answer. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for being a new business and for being overly busy that night. But itās one thing to lie to your customer. Itās both unprofessional and unacceptable! I thought about going over there but itās not even worth making a big fuss. I just hope they know that I know a lot of people in Garfield and I will make sure I let them all know to not eat there, Iām hoping this business closes down as quickly as it opened!! Also the food is terrible so donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter a busy day all I wanted was a nice relaxing meal, and what I got was food that arrived later than the 30 minutes, over an hour. They forgot a part of my order as well even though it was probably at the store for most of the hour. Thatās just on the service the food itself arrived in worse conditions than you would expect a 50$ meal to arrive. As well as being late the food arrived cold which was a given, and the food itself was either overcooked or not cooked enough. My daughter got the lemon garlic wings and the container was filled with the sauce, no not sauce just raw garlic and lemon juice. The wings themselves were raw and so soggy that when she picked it up most of the skin came off in clumps. My husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that had the texture of burnt rubber and ended up throwing his meal away. I myself got the fried cullet sandwich and it was so dry that I could barely swallow it. I write this to you to warn you against wasting 50$+ on a meal for your families. Ordered here once and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was sitting in Dahnert Park right in between Tony's Pizzeria and Pizza Mania, thinking, which one? After careful consideration, I thought I would give Tony's a try since it was new to me.
I was not disappointed. I ordered a meatball parm hero. See, for me, not all meatballs are created equal and my first test is to see what they taste like. I figure, if they get the meatballs right then probably the rest of the food will be good.
Well, the hero was great! The meatballs were perfection, the sauce delicious and the bread was toasted so nicely. I loved it! It was big, too. I had to take the remaining half home with me.
I really hope that the Garfield community steps up and supports Tony's Pizzaria because it's worth it. Good food, good prices and good people!
That other pizzeria just down the street? It's just a lot of hype. Their food is not great, it's expensive and they actually charge you almost $2.50 just too use your...
